Nice place. Our room was a bit damp. Bed in the dorm was very confortable. Hostel was a bit unorganized when we stayed. Don`t know if it was because of Holy Week, but there were people sleeping in matresses in the common area, outside the dorms. But for a few night is a good price for the money. Beds and rooms are clean.

We were disappointed about that hostel. No hot water although they advertise it, no soap in the bathroom, only one cookingplate for everybody, breakfast is not included if you stay in a dorm (you can buy it extra), only an insecure internet connection and above all not the cleanest place...

Me and my sister LOVED Pura Vida ! We love the smaller hostels that have just awesome staff members who are very friendly and very helpful. All around chill experience. They are located close to the little rown that has many interesting things to check out. Very beautiful location as well. Where we stayed could have been a bit cleaner but we woulsnt have traded staying there for anything.

I loved this hostel. Perfect location, walking distance to quepos, the grocery store and the bus station and a 50 cent bus ride to the Manuel Antonio beach. The second morning we woke up to about 30 monkeys swinging from the trees and telephone lines outside of our room. Amazing!
