Welcome to the most unique backpackers resort in the world that is not only a place that you can vacation and pass time away to relax or plan your next destination while visiting Costa Rica, but while you are here you can get creative and produce music, videos or get professional photo-shoots done.

Pure Vibes Backpackers Resort is centrally located in the beach town of Playa del Coco, our property is only 50 meters from the beach, and just 200 meters from the main street and heart of downtown.We offer a range of accommodation types from Private rooms, to Mixed, and Female only dormitory rooms. Every room is Air conditioned and contains its own en-suite bathroom.

Our property is set in an acre of lush tropical gardens, where you'll find a large pool, jacuzzi, and swim up bar which is a great place to socialize and get to know your fellow travellers. In our spacious lobby you can relax and check your emails using our free wifi, or chill out with a book in one of our hammocks in the garden.

Playa del Coco is a popular beach town in the Guanacaste province on the Northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, and only a 25 minute journey from Liberia International airport. Coco has a well developed infrastructure with good roads and plenty of shops, good restaurants, bars, casinos, hotels, resorts and markets.

Enjoy fresh food every day at our Jamaican themed restaurant 'Pure Vibes' and try the famous spicy Jerk chicken or Coconut curry dishes with an exotic cocktail at our pool bar!

Coco's beach is set in a horseshoe shaped bay surrounded on either side by steep cliffs and hills, and is a very popular spot with locals on the weekends. Nearby are several other beautiful beaches, including Playa Hermosa, Playa Panama, Ocotal and Flamingo. There are plenty of ways to pass your time at the beach or on the water from, paddle boarding, sea kayaking, snorkelling, diving, sailboat excursions, or take a boat trip to surf the legendary breaks at Witches Rock or Ollie's Point.

Jungle tours are very popular and you can pick and chose from a range of activities, from Zip lining through the jungle canopy, whitewater rafting, tubing, rock climbing, horse riding, 4 wheeler tours, or relax in a mud bath or hot pool. Coco is also a great place to stay while exploring nearby natural wonders like the dormant volcano Rincon de la Vieja (about 1.5 hours driving time), Lllano de Cortes waterfall (about 2 hours drive time), and dozens of beaches within a 1 hour drive.
