Great Hostel - very quiet - a nice change from the over booked, over packed hostels closer to the town center.

Stayed here last year nothing available in town. Breakfast included if in Ensuite. This year cannot wash using sink,we paid for wash. Clean, small & accommodating. Given location + being 3 meters from dirt road needs to be considered. We moved into town re high price for location, services and overall decor. This Hostel is a 40 US$ tops and not $70+. Finally when you have a calculator right next to you on desk, use it and avoid embarrassing additional $40 in your favour. Caveat emptor!

No lockers in the room, and no key to the dorm, made it feel a little unsafe. The reception was left unattended most of the day, so anyone could come in. Never any toilet paper in the bathroom....Wifi was not always working. 5-10 min. outside of town, but it is not a long walk. We liked the view of the volcano close to the hostel.

This hostel is very much overpriced, very expensive for this country and for a very rustic acomodation in an unattractive neighborhoud, far away from the center. The room was small and noisy, but it looks like everything is overpriced in San Pedro.
