Pushpa was a good hostel, nice room and bathroom, and clean. The owner was nice, except that he recommended us a hostel in our next destination which was an awful hostel..

Cheap and cheerful :) its all you need. Beds are comfy the staff are friendly it hasn't a restaurant but its 2 mins from the strip so it doesn't matter :) you can sit on the roof and take in the views its awesome. If you want cheap food stay off the beaten track even thou noting is massively expensive if your on a budget go up the side streets :)

We loved staying at Pushpa Guest House (for 9 nights in total). After 4 weeks travelling in Nepal, we can easily say this was the nicest & cleanest room and bathroom we've had. Always hot water guaranteed, the staff is very friendly and the new manager Raj will help out with any kind of arrangement you need. He's very service-minded and will definitely go the extra mile for his guests! There's no restaurant yet, but given the great location in central Lakeside you're only a few steps away from restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the lake itself.

We'd highly recommend this guesthouse as possibly the best place to stay in Pokhara on a budget. Rates are good for the quality you get. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hot water showers powered by eco friendly solar power! Free wifi usage. Raj the manager is exceptionally helpful and friendly. He knows a lot about trekking and can arrange a good deal for this. He also helped us get tourist bus and place to stay in Kathmandu. Location is close to the lake and terrace great views of the mountains!
