Built by German colonial settlers in 1904, Qingdao Observatory, the first contemporary observatory in China, is home of our youth hostel, which is perfectly situated in the center of the Observatory Park (Guanxiangshan Park) in the heart of Qingdao. It overlooks the Qingdao Bay, with splendid views over the sea and the metro skyline. Many heritage buildings lie around the Qingdao Observatory, a place to re-live history. The Hostel is in a superb location, not only for its city and ocean views, but also convenient access to all the attractions Qingdao has to offer.
Mamahuhu Lounge is located on the rooftop, the best spot to see the skyline. It's the place where our guests mingle and unwind with travellers from all over the world. Our rooftop venue offers a cozy and friendly atmosphere. We serve authentic western and local dishes at very reasonable prices. We are particularly proud of our coffee, try our 'Long Black'!

The main shopping destination is Zhongshan Road located 3 minutes walk from our hostel. Find us for the first time can be a bit hard, but we are a 'hidden gem' in the center of Qingdao, after you find the hostel in this beautiful park surranding us, you will love it!
