The staff were super sweet and patient with all my silly questions. For the Virgin de Candelaria, the location can't be beat!

We arrived at 05.30a.m. at the hostel and could immediately check in which was very nice! Breakfast is excellent, rooms are nice and clean. Would be nice though if the rooms had hooks or something to put clothes on. Showers were hot, kitchen is small but well equipped. Nice feature is also that there is tea/mate de coca all day for free.

Very basic, but functional. Well located, walking distance to everything needed. Staff was great. Breakfast was basic. I was there over night and left for Arequipa. All in all a good experience.

Lovely hostel. Best breakfast on my trip so far. The showers never got hot enough however. Otherwise, perfectly lovely.

Hot water, fresh bread breakfast (served 6.20-9am - great for day trips/early busses!), pristine room with Cable TV, 2 pillows on our very comfy warm bed! And Ensuite, All this for 60 soles a night - We thought very good value. The door remains locked all the time so felt quite secure, though there was no safe. The staff were fine and are studying english we noticed so set to improve! Taxi from bus st = 4 soles and safe, though he dropped us at wrong hostel - watch out!

This hostel was well located and the breakfasts were generous. Unfortunately the service we received on arrival was let down by the other staff members who paid little attention to detail and their guests. On the day we did a Lake Titicaca tour the staff member specifically told us the bus waiting was not for us. He was wrong and after a mad dash by cab to the port, we just made the boat. He seemed to be more interested in his dog and online poker then the guests.

Really helpful staff. They set all de tranfers for me. Also 3 blocks away from Plaza the Armas. The main host is an months-year-old Shar Pei dog named Spike.

Leo and his siblings are great hosts. The hostel itself doesn't gear itself towards a highly social atmosphere, but that was actually very welcoming to us. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast with fresh squeezed juices delicious, and just a nice place to stay at with friendly staff. And a very central location too. I would definitely stay with them again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Quechuas - the staff were very helpful, we got a free upgrade, and the puppy, Spike, is adorable!

The staff is fantastic at Quechas! Leo helped us out with a side trip, with taxis, with getting breakfast ready early.
