Friendly staff, gave me free towel service since I was only staying a night (not standard policy). Each of the rooms has a lock with a code on it, helped me feel secure about leaving my belongings behind. Great cheap breakfast in the morning before check out (11am). Check in doesn't happen until 2pm but I was hanging out in the lobby by Noon. Front door is locked by midnight, but someone is on duty 24hrs and will let you in when you buzz. Cons: far walk from tube station, especially with bags.

The hostel is just 10 minutes from the tube station. Very good for a hostel in London. The staff are nice and helpful, and it is definitely a decent place to stay at. Several (potential) problems though: you can only use wifi in the bar are but not in the room; they have a limited number of lockers so you may have to store your stuff in the luggage room instead. I would still recommend this place because in an expensive place like London, it's not easy to find a good-for-value hostel

The bedroom for 16 persons is on the yard of the hostel and you have to walk in the open to get to a toilet. Also, it smells horribly in the whole hostel - the smell in the bedroom is almost unbearable (there is no window you could open to let some fresh air in). In the reception area (which also hosts a bar) you smell an unidentifiable mixture of beer, and toilets (they are right next door). The night watchman spoke almost no english. Other personnel was very friendly though.

Nice staff, good atmosphere but tiny rooms (with ~10m² for six people (!!) it is difficult to leave the luggage somewhere). You have to walk 10 minutes to next over- or underground to get to inner London.

I had a great stay there and even returned for a night after I had left because the quality of the hostel. Very clean, safe and very quiet despite a bar underneath the dorms. Fantastic staff, very friendly and accommodating. The location isn't in central London, but there is a close by (7-10 mins) tube station and the price of the rooms make it a must stay.

The hostel is located in an old house which has a pub on the ground floor. The pub is the common area of the hostel. Location is good, but not central. Chelsea is a quiet neighbourhood, quite close to Central London. Closest tube station is not super close, but no longer than 10 mins walk. The rooms are clean, both the room itself and the sheets they give you. Showers are shared, but are clean and with modern equipment as well. Toilets are shared as well and are regularly cleaned by the staff.

A homely hostel, in residential area, amalgamated into a local pub. Nice place to have drinks and chat, or relax depending on what you desire. Travellers, football fans, workers all come here. Great location with direct, 24hr buses to Victoria, Liverpool St and Piccadilly. Tube and Overland stations within 10mins walk. Helpful staff and wonderful mattresses!
