Really nice and clean hostel. They have a nice bar downstairs and lounge. Staff is very friendly especially Arturs he was pouring the best Guinness I have tasted in UK. Thank you guys !
A place to crush for a couple of nights. For a long term, you should probably look around some more. Also, too many "extras" for additional price. Some are such that may be okay to charge for them (towels and morning meals), some are not (soap? oh, come on).
I was very surprised with the kindness of the staff like robert and the showers were really a pleasure, yes I would defenetly return....

This place is a hovel. It is very cheap by London standards but in the end you get what you pay for: filthy cramped lodging, minimal toilets/showers, rude unhelpful staff, and no wifi access (or locatable power outlets) outside the bar area. I would not only not recommend this place but actively encourage my friends and family to avoid it. The only positives we got from our stay: nothing got stolen and we didn't get bed bugs. Swings and roundabouts...
I've always had a great stay at the QE hostel, it's in a good central location and does not charge the earth. There's a great bar / lounge area downstairs that is very much a part of the hostel experience. Robert the manager is very friendly and runs an awesome hostel with great service, it's nice to have the beds made up as you arrive rather than mucking about with sheets that don't fit the beds.
As far as all the hostels I've stayed in this ranks right up there. The value for money for the location of the hostel won't be beaten (particularly in London). The facilities are great, nice hot showers with pressure and the rooms clean. Staff are welcoming and make sure you know all the ins and outs of the hostels when you arrive. Robert showed me around the first time and does a brilliant job of welcoming all the guest and pours a great beer as well
The Queen Elizabeth is great if you're by yourself as just planning to sleep and shower there. The rooms are tiny and with triple-bunk-beds it's close quarters with little space for luggage. The rooms were clean, the showers clean, though I only found one toilet for the hostel. A perfectly fine place to stay.
QE is on top of a quiet pub in the back streets. The pub is the common area which isn't to bad a few football fans come in to watch the games on the weekend but apart from that the pub is manly used by the guests of QE. It's about 10min walk from Fulham Broadway station which is nice the beds are a bit sqeeky but it's it's ok.
Very good Hostel, Friendly staff, would stay again!!!! Robert was an awesome manager!!!!! made us very welcome A+ 0712
The staff were really friendly. A locker cost extra. And if you stay in the largest mixed dorm, just know that it is not exactly connected to the building, you have to walk outside to get to it and when I was there the room smelled of mildew. The 1.50 pound breakfast is pretty good though, and it isn't a far walk to a cool part of town and to transportation.

I loved speaking with Robert, Noah and Peter!! Great staff and awesome local atmosphere...a bit of a walk from locations , but overall a very decent stay!!!
Actually it's a bar turned into an hostel so it doesn't have the classical hostel atmosphere... plus, pooooor (and not included) breakfast!
Great value for money and staff were a hoot
Hostel situated in an old pub. Saying that, this is an old building and it shows. Toilet smelt bad and constantly was blocked. Floors move as you walk on them. Staff were useless. Very little knowledge of basic things like transport and good eats. 'Kitchen' consists of a kettle, microwave and a fridge that stunk. No running water! Smoking area outside has no cover.
Very nice neighborhood, clean air, nice building, clean beds, clean showers, Nur at the reception is a very helpful and funny guy. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Peter
