It is ok for the price you pay and maybe it's ok if you book a private room. But the 4-bed dorm was not really nice, quite noisy. Plus obviously there is no kitchen, although there is a boiler (but no tap - you have to fill it either in your room or from the tap outside) and a small fridge in the common room. Staff is friendly. It is very far from the city centre and it is not a particularly nice location.

I was actually very impressed with the quality and the cost. The only problem I ran into was the shower went between scalding and freezing in very fast intervals and it made taking a shower difficult, but the beds and rooms were nice, as was the bagged breakfast in the morning. I was impressed with the little place.

The hotel is a bit far from the centre of everything, Although it is pretty easy to get there by bus. The rooms were average for a hostel but they basically give you all the ammenaties of a hotel. Breakfast is not very good as it was only cereal. It's a basic hotel but the value for the money isn't bad.

They leave you outside the door each morning a bag, with an orange/apple juice, corn flakes, milk and some biscuits. For 11 pounds per night that pretty decent. The location is not so good though, far from the city centre of Glasgow and the blankets aren't just big enough. The room was a little cold also. The shower tricked me a bit with hot-cold-hot-cold but in the end I managed it.

There is no lockers or safe boxes in this hostel. That's really bad. How can we speak about security level? But it situated in front of the very nice park... But far from the city center. If you want to get there on foot - you'll spend around 1 hour. But buses go fast.

was clean, simple & convenient. about 10-15mins by bus away from the city centre. free breakfast, clean sheets & towel.. would definitely recommend - the only thing you might want to be aware of is that you can hear lots of sounds from other rooms.. so if you happen to have loud neighbors that might be a problem.

Price was excellent, rooms clean, free breakfast, unlimited tea and coffee, friendly staff. No cooking facilities, only a microwave, but plenty cheap fast food in the area. Right next to a nice park, bus to town every 5 minutes and frequent train service as well. Had a horrible roommate though, so that really dampened my experience.

Nice accommodations, much more like a hotel than a hostel. Downside of no lockers, a good walk away from the city center, but the location right next to Queen's Park is beautiful. A good value for your money.

A tap in the common room would be nice, but it may not be practical. Also, the light went out a lot. I do love the little breakfast in a baggie-- those are spot on.

Stayed in the lead up to Christmas, so it's tough to comment on the atmosphere. The staff were great, though; very helpful. It's definitely a bus ride from city centre, but you can take any bus, so I never waited long. The street parking worked fine. The room and ensuite were huge. Nice heater in the room to help me dry out from the rain. Nice TV too. Bag breakfast was cereal. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.
