An excellent choice!! Perfect location, the staff was great, the price is also very good. The kitchen isn't big, the lockers are huge and the proximity to the puerta del sol makes hard to have good night sleep, but probably my example isn't the best because I stay there in the last night of 2011. I definitely stay there again and I strongly recommend.

This hostel was right in the center of town near Plaza del Sol. Even with all the people in the streets every day and night it was amazing that it was quiet in our stay on the 4th floor of this building. The location is awesome, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the breakfast provided was filling. I would definitely stay here again!

RC Miguel Angel offered excellent value. A clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a locker big enough for a large backpack. The location is excellent - one minute away from Puerte del Sol, but on a side street so not too noisy. The one down side was that the room was a bit cramped, but I´d stay here again.

The hostel was perfect! I was there for one night with three other friends. We reserved a four bedroom dorm for the four of us and we had no problems. The bathroom was clean and new and the bedroom was perfect for what we needed it for. It was small, but we didn't need any more. The only negative thing is that the kitchen is rather small meaning it was a bit cramped when having breakfast. It's best to get to the kitchen before the other guests! Although amble food is provided for breakfast.

Nice, well-located and the apartment itself is beatiful. It's quiet inside (if a little noisy outside, but that's just part-and-parcel of its great central location). Very friendly staff, who went out of their way to help me (with train/metro directions, letting me into the room early, giving me breakfast on the first day, etc.). Good for a quiet stay and a nice central location.

one of the best hostel I stay in Europe. its clean and tidy, comfort to stay, breakfast are decent and nice! There is a good things for some rooms are balcony for you to hang clothes. It locates in the city centre - Sol, with many metro lines, convenient. staff are nice and helpful, I store my lugguage here when I go Morocco for 10 days, Italy & Belgium for 3 weeks without any charges, great for me! as when Im in Brazil now, they will charge me for lugguage storage if overnight. defintely back!

Hostel is in an amazing location--steps from Puerta del Sol! However, due to its proximity to the square, it is very noisy and therefore difficult to get any sleep at night. The actual hostel is very quiet. The room and washrooms were very clean. The staff were helpful and spoke English well. The hostel does not check ID upon entering but I still felt very safe staying here.

It is perfect place to stay - great location, friendly staff speaking english, clean, very nice bathroom, small kitchen but very nice breakfast included ! I have stayed in double bed dormitory - very nice, clean and spaceful. I would recommend this hostel to everybody who would like to get to know Madrid by walking everywhere and see as much as possible. I really enjoyed my stay - thank you ! :)

Nice hostel, great location. It was like living in an old Spanish apartment. Actually, it was an old Spanish apartment.

This is a great place to go if you are travelling with your grandparents and would like to save some money. The location is great and it is clean, but they don't really have a common area and the character of the place is really not fun oriented. By the way, RC stands for (Residencia Compartida = Shared Residence); there is elderly people living right accross the hall. I was very disappointed and the only reason I didn't leave was that I couldn't find a better place to stay on the last minute.

The hostel is clean and with a great location. The problem is that it hasn't livings or common places, so you have two choices, or you stay in your room or you leave. The kitchen is very small too. The rest of the stuff was very good.

It is a good hostel, however not for those who are seeking peace and quiet, for the hostel is located in the city center (very busy area). Nonetheless, the staff is extremely helpful and make your stay worthwhile.
