Hostel is good, mainly considering the price. Rooms and bathroom are cleans, but not spacious. Lack of commom area and a small kitchen make everyone stay in their rooms. Wifi is slow. Nice staff.

Nous n'avons pas pu profiter du déjeuner offert parce qu'il n'y avait pas assez de place pour tous. We have not been able to eat breakfast there because there was not enough place for everyone in the kitchen.

It was very nice place to stay, good allocated and staff was helpfull. Just only one suggestion for the hostel owner: to provide for hostel staff a training course for basic English language skills. I sent a thank you card for hostel staff by post.

The difference with RC Miguel Angel is how decidedly smart everything is - the staff, that super-thorough cleaner, the abundant big reading chairs, the smart Madridlleno culture being palpable for miles in any direction outside, Silence reigns too, 24/7, like majic. Facilities like this very sturdy hostel seem eager to please all comers at every turn. This delightful hostel is only a couple of short blocks down Calle de Arenal from Plaza del Sol, directly above that first big smart Starbucks.

The hostel is nice and the staff is superfriendly. It is located in a busy shopping district right in the center of Madrid. It is a deal for a thrifty traveller. I would recommend to stay there in a less hot weather as there is no A/C and the ceiling fan didn't do much for me.

Hostel is in a great location and there is a lot to do and see close by. The hostel does not have ac, just fans, so that is my only problem with it, if you're there in summer when it gets HOT you should definitely find a place with ac.

This was the worst hostel we stayed at in our 2 month backpacking trip. When you stay at hostels, you are basically paying to sleep and that is the one thing the staff did not let us do. The man on the evening shift came in every 30 minutes, turned the lights on, and would wake up the whole room to tell us not to take blankets from other beds or to give a tour to new guests. They also gave us inaccurate information on the metro that made us miss our train. Avoid this place.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are always clean and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The only obvious problem was the speed of the WiFi. It was vey limited and did not reach all parts of the room.

Really lovely staff, even though the language barrier was difficult at times they were very willing to help with anything and very friendly. A great location and reasonable price, only suggestion would be a bigger kitchen and a common room. It got very crowded in the kitchen, only fit two or three people at a time.

Very nice hostel. For a 6-bed mixed dorm, we were pleasantly surprised!

Room was not air-conditioned as originally stated. With 40 degree heat outside the room was unbearable to sleep in. The bunk beds were so creeky that every time someone moved you be woken up. Breakfast served was average as the juice, milk, ham etc was not refrigerated and very warm. Checkout at 7am proved very difficult no one was at reception and took about 15 minutes to wait. Very disappointed with my stay here. No common room so very little atmosphere. Such a shame for a fantastic location

You are paying for the location with this one perfectly fine place to put your head down for the night, but don't expect anything more than that. right in the heart of Sol if you are only thinking about location.

This is a place to rest your head and not much more. It's clean, family run, and very well located and if you're looking for a fairly low cost place to stay this may be just the place for you! But don't expect a spacious room, communal spaces or any ambience... But if you are planning on going on pub crawls do those things even matter? Thanks for having me!

Great value for money! Wonderful staff, excellent location, really nice atmosphere. The bunk beds are a little bit noisy, they could be better, but all the other things were wonderful. I really recommend!

Ok hostel.

What they lose in atmosphere, they make up in hospitality. These are some really nice people. They do make you feel at home, although a really small home. If you need space to stretch out, this is not the place. But friendly people and 24 hour reception next to Puerta del Sol, this is the place. I asked about a taxi and the staff booked me a shuttle and saved me 20 euros, that is good looking out for your guests.

Pleasant little hostel in a perfect location. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. However the kitchen is a little small for so many guests but can't complain for the price :).
