Perfect location and feel local. However, the host is not good at English at all so difficult to ask about the city.
I had a great time stayin' at this hostel, it's location is awesome, the staff were so nice, I would definitely stay here again / Lo pase genial en este hostal, su ubicación es maravillosa, el staff se portó muy amable, definitivamente me quedaría de vuelta.

Nothing bad! Friendly staff, nice location, very clean, good breakfast, quiet. Totally recommended!
I stay in a room just for myself, really good.
The hostel was pretty good overall. Our room was a little bit old, but comfortable at the end of the day, anyway. The staff were attentive, friendly and very close to us ... really familiar. Exceptional location! Only a couple of downsides: the bathrooms and the kitchen. Just two bathrooms for some rooms (that means, if you just wanted to brush your teeth, you stopped someone to take a shower). Kitchen a bit small, but it served. Otherwise, all ok! ;)
We signed up for this hostel based on the reviews and I am sad to report that this is the first time they have been wrong. We booked the RC Miguel Angel and after checking in, they took us across the hall to a new hostel (CH San Jose, I believe). It was a family's shoddy apartment. There were two bathrooms, both dirty and neither had warm water. The beds were tiny and uncomfortable. The rooms were off a den and the family sat andw atched loud TV all day/night. I can't recommend it.
The stuffs can't speak well in English, but they are friendly. The bathroom hot shower will not work all the time, this is freezing cold especially cold weather! I took the 3 persons room, the room is old style room, bed, and facilities are satisfied. But the street beside the hostel is very noisy, people shouting, partying until 4-5am! It is very disturbing when you need a nice rest after whole day tiring walking tour!!! This will be the risk if u choose to stay in tourist hot spot!
Really special atmosphere. It is not party place, but really cozy. Everything was really clean, but hot water in the shower run out really fast. Location is perfect.
I have stayed here twice and I hope to return. The hostel is very close to Plaza del Sol. Despite being so central the hostel is quiet enough for a good nights sleep. There are a few dormitories, a kitchenette and a small reception área. The breakfast is small but adequate. The staff are unfailingly welcoming and helpful but don't have much English. In addition to swipe cards for the rooms you will have your own locker to keep your luggage secure. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.
A simple hostel in one of the best locations! Literally less than 2 min from sol and only a minute to plaza mayor. Things were clean and nice, but that was about it in terms of facilities. There wasn't a lot of frills - just a kitchen area, lockers in the room to put your things in (free key too!), and free (but pretty bad at times) wifi in the rooms. The staff is some of the nicest, most genuine staff I have ever seen, but their English is not the best. Very respectable, quiet, and fantastic.
Great location, but the noise from the street can be loud. The staff was great. The kitchen was small and could be cramped in the mornings but that lead to meeting people every time we entered. All in all it was a god stay probably geared towards an older demographic. Not really a party scene in the hostal but just walk outside and one could find on very close.

Awesome location and the staff are super friendly and always willing to help but very awkward walking through their family dinner/lounge room to get to our room. All the family were nice and said hi as you walk through but still I felt rude interrupting their dinner . Also big thing no sound proofing in our rooms so you could hear everything !!!! It was New Years so there was much more noise on the street than normal but still not the best night sleep because of the noise
This is the best youth hostel I have ever experienced. It is a small hostel but sooooo warm.
Great location, just a block from Sol. Clean room and bathroom Very nice owner ( senior gent & lady ) Great breakfast Strength wifi signal
We were very satisfied with our stay in the RC Miguel Angel. It is located in the very centre of Madrid, the staff was very nice and on our last day we could leave our luggage in the hostel until 22:00. Another surprise was that the breakfast was included, so we could save even more money.

The staff at this hostel is extremely polite and at your disposal 24/7. Any questions or suggestions you need about what to do or where to go in Madrid, ask them! The room was clean and the kitchen well equipped for all cooking needs. It is located in the very center of the city, near the metro, restaurants, shops, etc.
Nice play to stay, right near Plaza del Sol. They provide breakfast as well, which is nice. The owners seem to be an old couple, but there are also two guys who work there. All friendly enough.
I loved it here. I can't say enough good things about it. Great price, great location, friendly and helpful staff (see below). clean facilities, internet access, breakfast included. I needed to call back to the U.S. unexpectedly and didn't know where I could do so. The woman at the front desk found the nearest place where I could accomplish my mission and I was there in 5 minutes.
Really good place, it's a family hostel and they're really kind and polite people, two things, there was a problem with the hot water and it was almost winter, so 5 mins of hot water, then freezing, then hot again, etc. Another thing, the beds from the top of the bunkbeds should have a handrail for safety. Other than that, pretty good place.
