This is a place to rest your head and not much more. It's clean, family run, and very well located and if you're looking for a fairly low cost place to stay this may be just the place for you! But don't expect a spacious room, communal spaces or any ambience... But if you are planning on going on pub crawls do those things even matter? Thanks for having me!

Great value for money! Wonderful staff, excellent location, really nice atmosphere. The bunk beds are a little bit noisy, they could be better, but all the other things were wonderful. I really recommend!

What they lose in atmosphere, they make up in hospitality. These are some really nice people. They do make you feel at home, although a really small home. If you need space to stretch out, this is not the place. But friendly people and 24 hour reception next to Puerta del Sol, this is the place. I asked about a taxi and the staff booked me a shuttle and saved me 20 euros, that is good looking out for your guests.

Pleasant little hostel in a perfect location. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. However the kitchen is a little small for so many guests but can't complain for the price :).

The perfect location right near the centre of Madrid where numerous tours meet up. The hostel was well kept and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with anything you might need.

Prime location, friendly staff. The room was a bit noisy ,overlooking Arenal street and there was no air.conditioning, only a fan on the ceiling. However, it was well shaded and did not get too hot, even in temperatures around 35 during the day.Breakfast is nothing to write home about but the location and easy access to sights outweigh all this for me.Go for it.

it would be better if top bunks could have bed rails. Apart from that, everything has been fantastic! They provide shampoo and lotion, which makes us packing light have one thing fewer to worry about.

I had a great two days staying here. It was almost as if I was staying with family. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location couldn't be any better. Would definitely come back to this hostel again!

Very very small. No common area and basically no travellers culture. Good clean rooms in a very central location though. Avoid if you're trying to make friends or party. But otherwise it's a good place to stay. Family run and some didn't seem to speak English very well so basic Spanish skills makes life a little easier.

The staff are nice and friendly. They helped us a lot in this trip!

An okay hostel for just one night. No kitchen facilities and nowhere to really socialise with other travelers. Really squeeky bunks. But in a good location close to metro, palace and other attractions. Staff were lovely too.

I only stayed here for one short night so I can't say a whole lot about the actual hostel. What I can comment on is the wonderful staff. We were running late for a show and my two friends who were staying at a different hostel had all of their luggage with them at the time, and they let us keep all the luggage there and even called for a cab for them after the show. Really nice people, really nice hostel, really nice location. Would definitely stay again for longer.

The staff and facilities were very welcoming. I would suggest to maybe add vending machines so we can buy quick food or bottled water on site. This would also make life a little easier for the front desk staff. Colin Q

Only stayed for one night, and checked out early, but the hostel seemed really nice. Location is excellent, and the hostel seemed really clean and the bathroom/toilet very spacious. Stayed in a 6bed dorm. No AC, so maybe in the summer gets hot in the rooms. its next to a busy street, so some noise in the night, but didnt bother me. would go back.

This is a very nice family-owned hosteled located right near Sol. The staff who are the owners and their family are very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are clean as well. Would stay here again next time I visit Madrid! :)
