It is one of cheapest hostels. I did not expect much, but bed were very bad, Smokers on the roof during night was annoying (our window was situated to roof where was emergency exit). However if you seek cheap option it is ok. Entrance to the hostel is not easily find.

We were a family of three (child of 5) and were not expecting much but this hostel was under our expectations. We do not mean to be insulting but this hostel is only for overnight sleep, if even that. The whole hostel seems to be an improvisation of a hostel so you guys from hostelworld.com should really check it out...the kitchen, the dinning area/common room, the reception are small and improvised. The security is awful - anyone can come through the front door that are not even door...

The hostel is a small building, very "english", hard to find your way in (from a little street opening from Mile End Rd), it's very atmospheric. The location is just 3 metro stations away from Tower hill, the Gherkin is visible from just outside the hostel. A Tesco is just 2 minutes away, excellent! The only downside of the hostel, is that the windows only have one sheet of glass and the heating in our room was only a space heater. Note: all the beds are bunk beds.
