Some staff members are nice and very helpful and others are standoffish and cold. The washing machine didn't work and when they fixed it it ruined one of my shirts. The showers also ha some serious technical difficulties as did the wireless Internet. It really isn't a place where young people stay, it's mostly imports looking for work in London so it will be hard to meet people to go out with. The location is pretty good though because it is near the metro.

We stayed 4 days. Only recommended if you will only use to sleep after visiting the city and get tired easily sleep. The bathrooms and facilities very poor. Antique kitchen. Rooms very small and not hear much noise from the hallway. The showers barely in hot water.

The first impression was not a good one, I had to bang at the door for 15 min (and my hand still hurts after 5 days), the telephone number advertised on the site and on the entrance was useless because nobody answered and we only managed to get in because someone staying there came in. Afterwards, I have to admit that the room was clean with nice beds and it was quite warm inside. I would consider going back if they change their doorbell or do something to make it easier for people to get in

Excellent location with tesco express nearby. Stuff is very helpful. I think I got a better room that I have paid for, perhaps because the hostel was not full. All the people I've met were nice and a lot of italians stay there too. No toilet paper so be prepared. One of the showers didnt work but the others were fine. Although electric, the showers were very strong, be careful you can burn yourself. The sheets provided were good and the room was warm. I would stay there again

It was a perfect location for someone looking for housing nearby while going to Queen Mary University, as I was. It was great for the price. The bathrooms did not have toilet paper, which was a pain, but manageable. The lack of soap was a little harder to deal with as I could only think of all the other people using the bathroom and touching everything without any proper soap... Overall I would stay again and recommend it to friends.
