We stay here for one day. Everythings ok except location. The beach is far by walking distance.

This place was a long way out of town and it seemed really quiet. My bed was right next to the air conditioner on the top bunk so it was really difficult to sleep well. The beds were big though and lockers were provided. The room smelt damp too.

What a place! More of a hotel than a hostel. The pool is great and the staff so friendly and always able to help. Would easily go back again.

Rockin Ricky is off to create another gem seaside soon so jump him while you can ladies! The hipper and higher vibe George Clooney of diving and thriving has procured a 5 star gem of a sweet spot in Kata, yours for a song!!!! Its like a back stage pass with breakfast included!!!! Get it while you can!!!! The hedonist empire is expanding to paradise near you! Or at-least where you want to be! And you know I write this to put a smile on his face because he is juggling the whole show 24/7!!!!

RNR has nice staff and is a good place to relax and meet people. Only down side is that it's not so central so is a bit of a hike into town and to the beach.

RNR Hostel has a great laid back atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. The rooms are clean, the food is great, and you'll fall in love with the pet parrot and dog. You could spend the whole day just relaxing at the hostel watching tv or lounging in the pool. I would definitely stay there again!

Great place! Great People! In a sweet spot off the bustling roads in a nice nest of traditional Thai boutique style. Its like a 5 star hotel with cool fun people running the place and treating you like family! Excellent dive team and community! Thinking of getting some investors in Denmark to partner with Ricky. He built this with the highest rating on TripAdvisor and peer recommendations! A literal Gold Mine of potential, already a success and only open a few months!!! Will be back for sure!

As a fellow traveler I know what makes me feel at home when I travel ... I just do as I like done. Diving has been great and if you look at our Facebook page you will even see some Whale Shark photos. Speaking of Gold Mines...Let's chip away and dig up some new RNR ideas and locations! Thank you for this kind and positive review.

Great hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Was the nicest place we stayed in in Thailand for sure. The parrot is a bit tempermental but that's about it. And it's a Taxi ride into kata beach.

A great hostel, managed by a fun loving group of staff. The dorms are big and spacious. The beds are very comfortable, larger than the average single. The food served here is amazing and extremely reasonably priced. The friendliness of the staff creates a real community amongst the guests so its easy to meet other travellers. Booked 2 nights and ended up staying 4! Its a shame we didn't stay long enough for the owner's legendary beer pong pool party! Next time Ricky!!

So first of all , this was our first back packing trip. So we were excited to learn and experience this awesome concept. RNR eco was more than we bargained for. It has the most amazing team led by the coolest guy in Thailand Ricky. It has a very friendly atmosphere with a swimming pool and a pool table. It is pretty close to the beautiful Kata beach. Moi the in house cook is the best cook in Phuket(you can take my word on it). Made awesome friends and did even more awesome things during our stay

Stayed a few nights here in Nov. 2013, loved it. It is in more of a quiet area, as it's about a 15 minute walk from the coast, but it's not so bad going back and forth. It's relaxing and just a wonderful place to stay. Ricky is great and everyone we met there was fun. The room and bathroom were clean, the AC worked great. The kitchen cooks up some great homemade food. We did not dive with them but Ricky did set up a package deal on a trip to Phi Phi for us with a dive shop he knows and it went

Do your self a favor when you are in Phuket and check out RNR! This place is not a typical hostel! A beautiful converted villa tucked away from the main touristy areas but close enough for ~15 minute walk to the beach. Rick and his staff are extremely hospital, and really goes the extra mile to make sure you get the most out of your trip. A must visit if your into diving. Rick set us up with an awesome Open-Water Diving certification and trip to Phi-Phi Island that I will remember forever!
