If directions to guest house can be indicated from the main road, it will be more convenient.

Near Gangers, but the exactly location is difficult to find. Helpful staff, when we found the light didn't work, they can replace it immediately.

Staff were all brilliant, room was great, comfortable bed hot shower, room very clean. Food satisfactory but service extremely slow. Nice view from rooftop restaurant. Family run, all excellent with local info making sure you didnt get ripped of. Boat trip nice but too long on the return journey, slightly away from main area but only 30min easy walk, take a torch somd dark areas but felt very safe. Much quieter at night nice after the madness.

The Rahul Guest House was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable (stayed in the Super Deluxe) although the windows were small, so not much of a view. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful - really great. It's a ways from the main ghat so if you don't want to have to walk or take a rickshaw, you should probably find a place closer to the main action. But it was nice and quiet (relatively speaking - it is India after all) and the food at the restaurant was quite good.

We had a wonderful stay at Rahul's Guest House.Mr. Rahul is friendly and so helpful! Rahul sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up. The guesthouse is quiet and a bit out of the smelly part of Varanasi. Wi had a great boat trip on Ganges at 06, and really got memories for life. The chai in the roof restaurant is the best one I ever had!!

This place is nice and quiet, a good refuge from the bustle of Varanasi but still with a great rooftop restaurant overlooking the Ganges. The staff were exceptionally helpful, someone was able to meet us at the train station and they were also able to recommend some very good tuk-tuk drivers/guides who were both friendly, insightful and didn't try to rip us off. Nice clean rooms, very happy here.

Loved our stay at Rahul Guest House. Close enough to the ghats to walk but far enough away to be in peace and quiet. Airport transfers, boat and tours set up worked perfectly. Rakesh is awesome. Thanks for a lovely, but too short, stay in Varanasi

We had an excellent stay at the Rahul guest house. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. There was free wifi which was a big bonus and the location was just a short walk from one of the main ghats in the area. Everyone that we met in Varanasi knew th owner well and spoke very highly about it. Excellent value for money and the best hostel we have seen so far.

Fantastic guesthouse/hostel with amazing views of the Ganges. The staff here were all so welcoming we felt part of the family. The rooms are simply but comfortably furnished with plenty of hot water & a much needed fan to stay cool. Great food is served on the roof terrace where there is also a bar - a great place to spend the evening away from the hustle & bustle of Varanasi. The guesthouse also offer assistance on what to do in Varanasi & can organise all manner of tours. Highly recommended.

Great guest house, room was clean and just as we expected. Staff were uber friendly and efficient, location was fab with amazing views of the Ganges. I would most definitely recommend this for anyone staying in Varanasi. We booked a superior room so had a view of the Ganges from our balcony but I can't comment on the standard rooms

We started our stay in a foul mode after finding out there was a mix up with our order, but immidiatly we turned 180 degrees around. Not only were their rooms clean and comfertable but they did everything they could to make our stay as pleasent as can be. we came in the monsoon season and the rains did a lot to make us misrable, but to every problam the rain caused the guys at the reception gave us every comfort to make us pleased, plus their rooftop restaurant has one hell of a cook!
