I wish the information about how to reach the hostel was more detailed. The Sydney Central was not the most friendliest station for foreigners, it didn't have information which way out will lead to the exit where the hostel was located. I spent almost 30 minutes walking around dragging my suitcase trying to find the correct exit door.

Stayed in 8 bed dorm, good mattress, locker is nice size, plenty of space, however, 307 can be noisy being next to train tracks. Plenty of room in kitchen, all cooking utensils available, large fridges for all, plenty of cook tops. Close to McDonalds where you can get free internet wifi for laptop.

What a great find! Loved everything about it - its location, the carriages, the atmosphere, the kitchen, and the great little pool. Fantastic central location - especially for train travel. Will definitely be returning whenever I overnight in Sydney.

Its a fun different idea of a hostel built as a railway stn n train. Great location with 24hr open kitchen pool table, rv corner n swimming pool. Definitely recommended

Great location, very clean and well set up. Best of all it didn't seem to be full of partying 18 year olds! I'll stay here again.

Ok hostel but don't book a railway carage, so much noise from the trains and the station lights never go out.

Kind of cool to stay in rail cars but when you are instead you don't even realize it's a rail car, its just an elongated room with lots of windows. If you need dead silence and pitch blackness to sleep i wouldn't go here. Light gets though the cracks between the blinds and the window glass and lets a little light in. 10m from a train platform, I think there was one train past 10pm. in the morning you could hear the intercom in the station once an hour. Kinda dull atmosphere.

What kind of hostel wakes up everyone in the hostel at 10am by yelling over the PA that check-out is 11am, then to add insult to injury, they play offensive pop music for the next hour until those guests who are checking-out have left. Epic fail. Graveyard atmosphere & toilets were not cleaned in 2 days of staying here. Take your hard earned coin and spend it elsewhere.

Very clean and well located hostel. Good 4 bed dorms and convenient for transfers to and from airport as so close to the Rail Station. Good BBQ's and great kitchen facilities. A little soul less but good place to stay.

Really great hostel - a wee bit pricey but worth it for a handy location and awesome vibe. The carriage rooms were sooo unique, definitely added to the experience!

Having to pay what I consider to be a lot of money for wifi, and quite a lot for left luggage lockers impacts the review of the hostel, which I otherwise consider to be excellent.

Don't leave food on kitchen tables for more than 5 minutes or over zealous staff will bin it!
