Fantastic Hostel, wish we had more than one night to stay. The kitchen is amazing and as it was really busy we even got moved to the B&B instead of the regular hostel room. The only thing that can hold you back here is the weather, which unfortunately wasnt great but the hostel has great wifi, books and cozy atmosphere to while away a rainy cold day if need be. Thanks guys, hope to return later in the year for a longer stay. James & Zhao.

Rainbow was a pleasure to stay in, it was a pity there wasn't much happening in this little town at this time of year because this hostel was so pleasant to stay in. The kitchen is awesome and Mattie and Carmel will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable - even got some washing done. WIFI was great (room access!) and there's a wood fire waiting for you in winterould be great for the summer festivities! Close to pubs, but O'Connors is a 15 walk - not too bad though. Great hostel :)

the place has it's character, exactly what you can expect in a small village on west cost of Ireland, american stove in the "hall" :) heated by turf was very nice, bedrooms with WC and shower - all very clean, and large kitchen area. very nice place to stay I can only recommend.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here while visiting Ireland. It's a lovely and cozy place, with a great kitchen complete with gas-stoves! Also, there's a cozy living-area with a fireplace to relax in after a hard bike-ride to the Cliffs of Moher.

Great hostel in a cozy village next to the Cliffs of Moher. The hospitality was tremendous and the pubs and shops are traditional and everything I had expected plus more. I will definitely stay at the Rainbow Hostel again in my future travels to Ireland.

Can be very noisy due to poor layout, and the room smelt a little damp, could have been a little cleaner. Has a nice relaxed feel with an outdoor seating and eating area which if it was cleaned up and worked on would really be a great spot to spend some time in itself. Staff are great and extremely accommodating even offering to give people a lift to the shops. In its in a great location with everything to hand except a shop.

one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! So nice and clean - you don't even need sandles for the shower. Don't stay at the other hostel in town - we had friends stay there and they said it nothing compared to the Rainbow. Highly Recommend!!
