Bit noisy-- of course not specific to this hostel, but bring earplugs!

Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Can't really be in a better location. Seriously great people here too. Highly recommend!

Loved this place. The staff are great and so knowledgeable and Sam organises trips. The location is fabulous in the heart of TST with restaurants, shops and attractions no more than 20 mins walk to most of them around Kowloon. It is a great place to meet people to spend days sightseeing with or nights partying. Free water and wifi and the metro is on the doorstep. Will make this my spot to stay when I come back to HK in the future.

Staff and location were perfect. Booked a "Deluxe mixed dorm" and ended up sleeping on the floor, which I couldn't find very deluxe.

One of the best hostels in HK!! Once you get used to the lack of space (very normal in HK) you start enjoying everything. The hostel is extremely recommended for solo travelers, the common room is small and ready to meet people! I enjoyed a lot the stay! Sam (the owner) took us to a breakfast to a local restaurant, it was great!!!

Very very small. 8 beds in a 12 square meters room. No kitchen. In the 14th floor of a very dirty building. Bud the location is good and the lockers are big enough for backpacks.

Staff were extremely helpful when we had any questions on how to get to some sites. Extension cable on each bed could be used with any kind of plug so you don't need your travel adaptor here either, allowing you to charge multiple things at once. Fantastic atmosphere with guests as well.

It's a bit small but that's expected in Hong Kong. It's a great location next to the main metro station. All the main bars and clubs are one or two metro stops away. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Wifi works well and there is a common area to meet people. Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Would recommend this for solo travelers.

Great staff, nice place, within a walking distance from many attractions, will definitely stay there again. The owner will take you out to a good dim sum place. Check out the buns, very tasty!

On first sight, it's impossible to see how so many people fit in such a small place, however the privacy curtains really help and each bed has a power supply, light and shelf. The hostel has a really friendly and sociable vibe and the staff are really helpful. I think somewhere to get dressed would be a great addition as the shower and toilet cubicles were small (but very clean). Lockers are only big enough for valuables, not luggage. I'd stay here again if I return to HK on a budget.

Rainbow lodge has created such a great atmosphere to make new friends, to find buddies to visit the city, to share travel tips with. The staffs are superb. You can count on them to show you the special experience in Hong Kong. Thank you!!

Rainbow Lodge is a perfect place to spend a few days in Hong Kong. Its location is convenient to just about anything you'd want to do, its small size allows people to get to know others really well, and the staff puts a lot of effort into making the atmosphere nice.

Great place to meet fellow travelers. Always things going on so gespecially good for solo travelers to meet, hang out, and do things together. Sam, the owner, is really cool. All the staff there are incredibly friendly, helpful, and really fun to talk to if you just wanna chill in the hostel for a bit. Shoutout to Manni (sp?), Joanne, and Yucie (Lucy) who are the best people in the world! Definitely deserve a huge raise :D

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed! Location is super good, 20m from the metro station exit C2, and 10m to the airport bus station. They have everything you need in the hostel, the socket is suitable for different chargers. The staff there is very very nice, friendly and helpful. The boss is sooooooo good, he took us to a good local restaurant. and show us the bar street. there was a great party. The best thing is to meet so many great friends there, the atmosphere is extremely nice.

Initially the hostel seemed extremely small, especially after being used to SE Asian hostels. However, this is the norm in such a dense city as HK. The bunks are triples and the lounge/bathrooms are quite small. But after getting used to this, the hostel was a fantastic place to meet people and the owner is great. He regularly takes guests out to dim sum / horse races / bars and makes sure that everyone has a good time. The location is also absolutely perfect on Nathan Road - very easy commute.
