The hostel was difficult to find as is typical to the old area of Marrakesh. The hostel did put in an extra effort by posting a video to help find the location. However, the street the hostel was on was under construction and did not look at all like the right street. Then it was VERY difficult to walk on. Nobody told me the hot water tank needed to be plugged in before each shower so I had an uncomfortable cold shower.A key should have been issued to dorm room given my rooms location in hostel.

Amazing staff and their food was amazing. Highly recommend eating dinner at the hostel, I had the best vegetable stew there. They also had hookah for the hostel guests to enjoy. Only 5 euros and they let us use it twice. Really fun. The rest rooms were very limited and the beds were really small, but for 6 euros a night I'm not complaining. The location was great only a 2 minute walk to the main square. Overall a great experience.

Hostel is difficult to find, the road was under construction during our visit, making the trek an adventure. I'm fairly certain the sheets on the beds have never been changed and the only shower could have used some more cleaning. That said, awesome hostel for the price. The staff if super friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast is very good. Plus the hostel offers good prices on excursion. Despite the lack of cleanliness, I would definitely stay there again.

The staff here were amazing, Rashid and Ahmed will make you feel at home and are upfront about costs of things in the area. Nice rooms, bathroom set up a bit bizaar but everything was well cleaned. If you're goal is to meet nice people then this is the place for you, if you want a hostel that's more like a hotel then prob shouldn't stay at this hostel.

The Marrakech rose ( or rainbow) made my stay in Marrakech as easy and fun as possible. Rashid and the other members of staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt happy safe and got to know others. They recommended excursions, restaurants, cheap places to pick up water or take a look at and would even personally show me around. Nothing was too much trouble. Ahmed makes a delicious breakfast in the morning and the mint tea is plentiful. I would like to thank them all personally!

very good times had at Marrakech rose mainly because of the hospitality and freindly character that was 'moroccan marley' or Rachid. Everything I needed he was more than happy to get for me and really made my time in marrakech unfogettable!! highly recommend the 'rose' to anyone coming to Marrakech! thankyou moroccan marley for everything!

We arrived, hot smelly and a bit stressed from the sleeper train (after eventually finding it - follow the directions!) and the first thing Rashid did was get us coffee and breakfast! The hostel is a little oasis of calm in the madness. The staff will help you out with whatever they can, will even cook you tajine. Mint tea is free and endless, we drank many a pot over games of Uno. The beds are traditional, so narrow barrel beds, I slept well on them but my friend didn't.

The place is hard to find but then again, it's part of the Marrakech mystique. There are only two toilets and two bathrooms, which could get very busy early mornings. The staff are very warm and accommodating especially Rachid, the manager. The hostel is very well-maintained and clean although the sewers needed some fixing. You'll surely get your money's worth in staying with Marrakech Rose: free breakfast, wifi, no curfew, near the souks and the square. Will definitely go back with friends.

Nice hostel in a riad in the center of old Marrakech. The location is perfect, although it's a bit hard to find at first (don't expect any big signs on the street). The free (served) breakfast is great. For all the good things, there are two bad things as well: all rooms head towards the inner courtyard, which is also the "living room", so expect it to be loud (bring some earplugs). We also didn't get fresh sheets, but that was corrected when we asked for it.

great atmosphere, good breakfast, always free mint-tea, too many and too hard beds in the rooms, it would be much easier to find if there would be some signs where to go (description is very precise)

I booked a 3-persons-bedroom, which was more expensive, but they only have bedrooms for 5 - 6 people. I didn`t mind, but I could have booked the same for less money. The hostel itself was great, felt like coming home everytime.
