The location is great. 500m from the Monorail and 200m from about 200 restaurants plus a lot of shops. I stayed there twice. The first time was in the 3 bed dorm. If you were sharing it with strangers then you would be tripping over each other. The 2nd stay was in a private room which was really nice. The hostel has a large ground floor lounge and a 3rd floor lounge and kitchen with a large fridge. I would definitely stay there again. JMc - Seasoned

The breakfast was a bit poor and there was no window in the room.

Lots of mosquito in my room when i first arrived. The A/c leaked aloooot and the club next door was very very loud. but the bed was nice and the room was clean and the location is great. i think this place is a good value if you can sleep through loud noises. oh and if you want internet on the 1st floor go to the bar next door, order a drink and get the wifi password works fine in1f rooms the

I booked a family room for 4 persons . before my trip i inquired what floor was our room located because of my knee problem.they said it would be at the second floor, upon check in it turned out that we are on the 4th floor and moreover, the airconditioning is very poor. it was stuffy and i asked the front desk to provide us an electric fan before we went out to get dinner. there is no electric fan when we returned so we comandeered the fan at the common area. not returning.

This was my second time staying at Rainforest - I came back to KL for a second trip, and enjoyed Rainforest so much the first time, that I came back. It is in a great location - just around the corner you will find loads of bars and restaurants. It is clean, the staff are friendly, and there is a nightguard to let you in if you arrive in the middle of the night. The breakfast is good for a hostel - fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereal, toast, coffee, tea. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay in KL, but a little expensive. Breakfast was disappointing- crappy white bread and jam, instant coffee. They could offer more for the price. But staff was great, very comfortable. Location fantastic, 10 minutes walk to Petronas towers, Berjaya plaza, LRT line.

we booked a private room since my wife was ill, but the room used to be connected to the one next door via a door in the wall. Instead of filling in the door with brick, it seems like they just covered it in a thin sheet of wood, the result was we could hear everything that was going on in the room next door. Even when I told them to speak quietly, the noise was extremely loud. I felt cheated that I paid all this money for a room that wasnt even built properly.

Colour of interior too red. Feels hot and humid. Also castrophobic. Stairwell no railings, a danger to young kids and elderly. Hostel proximity to night scene very rowdy over the weekend. Couldn't get a good rest.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff speaks English at a good level and are very helpful by giving tips/directions/making phonecalls/etc. Breakfast was good and Internet was available for free. Great location which offers bars, restaurants and public transport on walking distance. We would recommend this b&b to everyone who is going to KL

Great place, great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the lounges felt like a tropical living room. I would stay here again.

Right in the middle of the party area, perfect for partying, but very noisy on weekend nights, a new next door bar is about to open soon, so if you don´t want to party, don´t stay there.

Clean friendly good value b&b in a great location, minutes walk to monorail, LRT, food, drink and shops. Wifi accessible on ground & 1st floors but no reach to higher floors.  Travelling solo, there is a lounge & balcony but I didn't find these to be the place to meet other travelers.  Overall highly recommended though, I'd stay here again.
