Ramblas - Plaza Cataluña Reviews

The room was tiny and didn't have a window, but we only used it to sleep so it was fine. They cleaned every other day, but the kitchen was still dirty. One of the 4 bathrooms was always clean enough though. If you only need a place to sleep and you are not too fuzzy this place is ok!

I lived in a single room. Following prices, I knew that the Hostel wasn't the best. The size of the rooms are very small but acceptable for prices.There were 2 things that I didn't like by far: ridiculous pillows (I don't understand why, viewing their cheap price in market-place) and "castle" bed so near the roof. If you want to stay there, you will pay a small double room ever,but it's no neighbour to roof at least. The rest is passable and the position is good. Attention to changing-address

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!! ...It is the dirtiest, most disgusting hostel I have ever stayed at!! It was so unsanitary that the beds even had bed bugs!! We have bites all over us!!!! Not to mention that the bathroom was absolutely nasty...one day I saw a GIANT glob of hair sitting right in the drain. And they actually made us stay in two different places which we weren't even informed we would have to do this. DO NOT STAY HERE!! IT IS HORRIFYINGGG!!!!

Terrible hostel, very dirty, dust all over the place, very small rooms, dirty bathrooms, smells of smoking, wrong location, they tell you it is next to placa Catalunya but it is somewhere in Gracia, the staff is very unfriendly.. DON'T GO THERE except you are a masochistic!!!!!!!

they gave us only a very very very narrow room and the bed was very close to the attic. it was not good quality either. if i had clostrofobia , i wouldn't be able to sleep there at all. the pics on the web site was much better than the real room. but i like the staff and hostel's location.

Please always remeber that you should not expect a hostel to be a hotel! This place is something for young people or for a short stay. But if you are fine with that you will find a very nice and very good located place with helpful and really really friendly staff!!!!

There were two good things in my mind and that was the showers and the staff. The bathrooms were always clean and the staff was very friendly! On the other side, the room was very tight for two people. There was room for 1 person in between the bed and the wall. The front door was not always locked and had to be opened with a key on both sides. Overall this hostel was average and the price was appropriate for the accommodations.
