If you need a place to stay over night at the centre of Barcelona, this could be it. Good location, rooms are quite small, others don't even have windows. Nights were quite noisy, lots of travellers live around in same flat, thin walls.

It seems like an illegal accomodation without any sign or official label.
Location is good 15 minutes walking distance to la rambla. I had reservation one day in one bed room and three days in double bed room. They were in different buildings. There are 2 street between these 2 buildings about 5 minutes walking distance. Wifi works. We had hot water but in first building one tap was some kind of broken. There is not any lobi it's not like a hostel exactly. Most of the staff son't know english. There is only one who speaks good but we could talk just on the phone .
Although the staff was friendly, the hostel was dark, dirty and the room, without window, was very small. I refused to stay there because I was afraid for my health, so I had to find another hostel.
First of all, the name is so misleading! They should not be allowed to call themselves "Ramblas, Plaza Cataluna". The main reason I chose to stay here was because I thought it is on La Ramblas. This place is nowhere near Ramblas or Plaza Cataluna! The place doesnt even look like a proper business establishment, with no reception staff whatsoever! It is just a private apartment rented out to tourist (with only one shared toilet and bath!). It feels dodgy, may even be illegal or unregistered!
