We really enjoyed our stay at Rana Roja. It is set in the jungle and a two min boat ride from Tortuguero ... but that means you are close to all the animals and the creatures the jungle has to offer It was great! Our best highlight was finding out that we paid to be at Rana Roja, but got to use all the same amenities of the attached resort ( for half the price) , it is a little confusing at first but once we realized is was to our favour we went with . Highly recommend Rana Roja.

Remote location ( required watertaxi to go the village).In general i think it may be a Good Place for families
