We arrived to find a message on a board to call the inn keeper. She was only 10 minutes away on the China Ranch, however she never came to greet us. We were told we were the only ones there and that it was very safe. The air con was broken and that a guy was coming to mend him and to pay him. There was no hospitality and no info on Death Valley and no services as it was end of season.

I had booked two nights here, turned up and it was freakin' closed?!?!?! It might have been good, but I'll never know. The booking was for mid-July, I don't know, maybe that isn't there peak season, fine, but if they take a booking I at least expect the place to be open?!?!?!
