When I arrived at the hostel, the fee wasn't the same as the presented in the hostelworld.com, was way more expensive. And the hostel atendent's told me that she could cancel my reservation, but she couldn't give me back what I've already paid for the hostelworld.com. Another thing is that the people from hostel doesn't have any important information for tourists. And the internet doesn't work in the bedroom. I recommend staying in another one if you're searching for a shared dorm.

The shower didn't work, the were no lights and water. The receptionist asked us to pay more than it was stated in booking bill, but it was all settled dawn in our favor. Internet didn't work. Room was very small, but bad sheets were good and clean. Location is good but quite far from the center.

In regards to having a place to sleep, cook and eat, this hostel was great. Lots of space. The showers were falling apart, but we still managed to get clean! Get a print out of your reservation if you can, as they charged us more than what we were meant to pay and upgraded us without asking and we didn't actually realise until afterwards. We also weren't up to date with the currency conversion - make sure you are or the wool may be pulled over your eyes.

Rancho Urbano has a lot of potential, but needs some TLC. Fresh paint to get rid of the smoke smell, new furniture and remodeled bathrooms with actual room to shower would make this cool layout a welcoming place to stay. Also they have cats!! If you are allergic beware!

The staff was great, really cool people, very helpful; as far as the rest...horrible. Might be the worst hostel ever for me. My advice is to keep the nice employees which are wonderful and burn the rest.

Hallway smells like cigarette smoke all day and all night. i dont mind it, except in the mornings when I wake up. I cant complain though because it was a good price and a good location for where I wanted to go. The hosts were nice, but they could of been friendlier. Overall I liked the hostel though for the price. :)
