Nice homestay, although it's not located near the beach like the other homestay's in Negombo. Close to the Dutch canals in the city centre (for a walk). Owner can help you find your way around town or move onto the next location. Facility's are a bit poor (no musquitonet). But the price is fair also when traveling alone.

This questhouse is great! We were two girls travelling to Sri Lanka, and we had booked Randi Homestay for the first night. Our bags got lost on our way to Sri Lanka, and the owner was very helpful - he kept calling the airport even though it was late at night. The food is also great, and the wifi works well. Very nice and clean rooms. The ONLY bad thing was that a church is very close by, and they made a LOT of noise in the evening and morning. But all in all: We could not have been happier!

Very convenient next to the bus station, they let me check in early which was nice. Room clean and simple, bearable with just a fan at night. Bike hire very good price. It's good you can use a kettle. Only negative thing is breakfast. So basic it's not even worth mentioning they do it, a roll and banana!!! For a home stay I expect a lot more and hoped to experience real Sri lankan food!

Fabulous hospitality, thanks Douglas for helping us with tuk-tuk driver, umbrellas in the rain, directions & delicious breakfast! One tip: I had booked a room with en-suite bathroom and turns out it was shared. Not problem for us, but others may prefer to know it will be shared.

It locates close to the city center, everything is OK for the limited budget. Normally, late April till early May, the temperature is around 28-30, but this year it is 34! WIth such a high temperature, a fan is not good enough. However, it's our own oppinion.

Very nice home stay. The breakfast is incredible, very nice start to our Sri Lankan holiday. The room was very hot when we were there, but the fan certainly helped. The family are lovely and friendly and they helped us book a tuktuk to the beach, and helped us get the bus to the train station.
