This guesthouse as really a poor value for money. Only the minimum in the room very dirty. Guest owner seems only to be interested in billing for every service, even when he booked for us a cab (this is the only time we\'ve paid for that during all the holidays, as they always take a commission on the ride). Price is at least 3 times more expensive as it should be for this country & the quality of accommodation. More, guesthouse is very close to a mosque so be prepared to be woken up at 5:30am

Good hostel in better part of Colombo. Little bit dark and sad atmosphere. Prices are maybe little bit higher then in another places. All what i can say is, good (3) hostel, nothing more.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. The only problem was finding it! There is no sign outside and it's down a small back street. Overall, highly recommended though.

Out of the way unlicensed guest house with hidden charges (600Rs.) for wifi and arrogant cunning owner. Our pre-booked room was given to someone else. Wouldn't stay there again.

Shanti the hostess was lovely and made us feel most welcome. She made great Sri Lankan breakfasts. Ranjit is also most helpful and gave us lots of advice on where to visit. Our only complaint would be that the windows don\'t have any mosquito screens so there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room - you have to hide under the net.
