Ratagan Youth Hostel has one of the best locations in Scotland. From the attractive lochside garden, the views across to the Five Sisters mountain range are breathtaking.
Good facilities mean the hostel is popular with walkers and tourists alike. There are otters, badgers and pine martins in the area. Red deer are numerous, and on the mountains ravens, ptarmigan, sea and golden eagles and mountain hares can be found. The hostel is only 8 miles from the world famous Eilean Donan Castle.
