Rattana's Resort, Ranong, is located in Banrin a suburb of Ranong on the Hadsompan River, not far from where it enters the Andaman Sea. Set in the foothills of the mountains, world famous Raksawarin Hot Springs is a 5 minute stroll from Rattana's Resort.
Known for it's clear drinkable spring water with a temperature of up to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, cooled to comfortable levels in separate pools, it is well known for it's curative properties. People come from all over the world to soak in the free uncrowded public pools or luxuriate in the more sophisticated but affordable Siam Spa.
The surrounding area is a paradise for sun worshipers, scuba divers, river rafters, hikers, bird watchers, nature lovers and people watchers; there is an activity (or not) to satisfy just about everyone.

we followed the directions, but never did find this hotel, even the taxi driver we used had never heard of it, we found another hotel , and checked the yellow pages, still nothing. perhaps the directions were wrong, but we were pleased to find another place, and were not in a worse situation.
