We think they seemed a bit greedy! They advertise free internet, but they charged $ 10 per hour! They suddenly increased the creditcard fee from 5 to 5,6 %. To many dogs there!! The place is beautiful!

The dive staff was great and the food was excellent especially for the price. The island was beautiful and the beaches incredible. However, the dorm is 100 meters from the beach against a hillside. This left no ventilation for the hostel and with only a fan it was stifling. The dorm reaked of mildew and there were rats. The beds were very thin foam over slates with a lump foam pillow, no that you could sleep since it was too stuffy.

It's a nice resort in Mana Island, with a very good beach 5 min walk distance and in front of one beach that it is not so nice, but that have amazing sunsets. The resort is for backpackers and it isn't neither good or bad... it's ok! There are very nice people in the staff, but beware of KD (you'll know him), that just want to take money from tourists. If you want to do great trips by boat on a budget, check the resort next door. Friendly people too. Have fun!!

On Arrival at Mana Island we were greated by a member of the staff from the hostel. They helped carry our bags and show us to our Room. Reception staff were extremely friendly, and helpful. The Island and accommodation were full of Fijian charm, with the atmosphere of a laid back tropical island . The 3 bed bure that we had was not up to much. Fair enough it's cost less than the hotel at the main resort, and werent expecting sheer luxury, room slightly dirty ,very warm and poor activities.

We planned to stay there for three days, but extended our stay to more than one week. The hostel is located at a wonderful beach and you can see the sun set from the ocean-side restaurant. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Don't miss the "Bula hour"! It was an amazing time.
