Nice, small, hostel with family atmosphere and the best staff ever

Very average hostel with friendly and helpful staff. Value for money is okay but shower and toilet areas arent very nice and need a bit of work doing. Anybody staying on the top bunk in the dorms should have a good head for heights and shouldnt wriggle too much as the bunks are a bit rickety and dangerous. Perhaps an area of improvement? Other than that this place is good. They sometimes provide evening meals with wine and also leave out a good slection of breakfast stuff too.

I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel, the staff are so lovely and will do anything to help you. The hostel is close to the bus stops that take you all over the city. The hostel is clean, has a good atmosphere and a good breakfast. We loved our stay here!

I usually rate a hostel's atmosphere based on a its activities/party atmosphere, but the atmosphere at this hostel, while quiet, was so peaceful and friendly that I had to give it 100%. The area it is in (the business district) is pretty dead on Sundays and in the evening but is central (halfway between the cental plaza and the bars/restaurants of San Telmo. Breakfast is decent (for Argentina). Would help if you restocked your maps guys! - and had a printer on site to print bus tickets etc.!

The staff here is excellent. They treated us like family. They went out of their way to help us in every way possible. The hostel is very close to the subway entrance, bus stops and the center of the city. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The Rayuela Hostel staff makes you feel very comfortable and like in a big living room, rather than a hostel. Everything is very close and cordinal. I really enjoyed the nights with good wine and live music.

I checked in 10 days ago and I still haven´t left. I´ve been backpacking for four months and the environment of this hostel is one of the best I´ve experienced! Cristian and Camilla are very warm and welcoming people who make every effort to make you feel welcomed into their city. From eating dinners with the entire hostel, to drinking wine late into the night, this has been such a great place to stay.

Very nice hostel in BA. The rooms are large with good a/c, very much appreciated during the summer heat. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was quit good to Argentine standards... However the hostel is hard to find. Make sure you write down the address, there is just a really small hostel tag at the door bell, very easily missed if you don't know the exact location.

It's a third floor of a traditional building near of a crossroad of two great avenues of Buenos Aires, and near of metro. But the most important for me were the people of the hostel, that is so friendly and nice, and helped me so much with my chooses in this city.
