Real plaza is a small cozy hostel whith a warm atmosphere. It is in a great location, gothic quarter, which is beautiful and has a lot to see. the metro station is very close. Sandro is good and very helpful man. But the big disadvantage was that room for 4 is extremely small and there is no place to put your stuff at all. Also, it is very noisy at night because of washing machine or smth. and 1 bathroom for 8 people was kind of annoying. But if you stay in room for 6 i think u'll enjoy it.

It's a cool place to stay. I was in a room with 6 People. It is clean, the beds are not that comfortable but thats the Problem in almost every hostel. The Location was really really good, Close to the Metro. The housekeeper is nice and the bathroom was very clean. All in all a nice place to stay for a few days.

Staff were really helpful and friendly! Only complaint is there was only one bathroom - pretty annoying in the morning!

Hello. I didn't like the kitchen. It was so small. And the stuff was really not friendly. The 'So' guy was rude with us. The room was clean. In compensation, the location is verry good. 6 points from 10.

WOW. I liked a lot this guesthouse. Sandro is realy helpful with everything. The house is big and the kitchen was wonderful. The location couldn't be better. 2 min from Rambla. I recomend this gustehouse. 10\10.

I had a great time at Real Plaza and highly recommend it to other travellers. Compared to your average hostel, the Real Plaza is very small and felt more like an appartment shared with friends and I met some really cool people there. The location is perfect in the center of Barri Gotic! Beware: there is no sign on the door! Also, the manager (Sandro) only pops in every now and then so be sure to tell him your arrival time and have his phone number with you.

This hostel is in a great location just off La Rambla. The hostel itself is in an apartment which is a great place to unwind and a much better feeling than staying in a huge hostel. However the owner is never there so it's hard to check in and out. There is no one to ask questions about sights. The kitchen is closed from 10:30pm until 9:30am so good luck if you are up early and want breakfast. It's very noisy at night. The bathroom is also dirty.

Sandro is a legend, really looked after us and the hostel is in the prime location with great communal facilities. Slightly difficult to find the first time though, but easy after that. Cheers Sandro legend!

The only real inconvenient is that at the door there is no information that an hostel is there, even a little sticker would help, to avoid that feeling of being in the wrong place...

4-bed room was surprisingly small (you should write about it in the description of hostel) but common room and kitchen was comfortable and very good equipped.

There is aircondition in the biggest bed room and in the living room. Those areas were nice and cold. The other two bedrooms were too hot for my liking (temp outside was between 30-35 deg) and I also think the bedroom I was sleeping in was too small for 4 beds. Wifi was really good. Clean central place.

Really great hostel that is unsuspecting with no garish signs outside. We travelled in a group and used the 6 bedroom room which had an ensuite - absolutely ideal since we could take as long as we wanted in the bathroom and lock the door knowing our passports were safe. Sandro was really great, giving excellent advice about what to do and where to go in Barcelona. Think of this hostel as an apartment as it is lovely inside. I will recommend it to my friends and shall be returning!

Wonderful place to stay!! In one of the most central places you could possibly stay, 2 second walk to La Ramblas. Had large living areas and cooking facilities to use and relax in. Rooms are a little small and hot when windows are open, but shut the windows and turn the fan on full blast with door open and the air con comes in and cools the room. Make sure you have an exact time of arrival or you may be waiting on the street a while. look up exactly where it is before hand street has two sides

Fantastic stay, the location is amazing, there are lots of alleys nearby with quirky bars and restaurants that are A LOT cheaper than Las Ramblas.

I loved this hostel, its got a great vibe and is in a super central part and is close to everything. Its not a party hostel, most were my age and generally relaxed so i got to meet some really great people. The owners are puntual when you organize a time to meet so thats not a worry. Overall really great place

A beautiful hostel with lots of light and wooden floors, hidden away in a slightly dingy alley. I had a nice stay here, and the staff were very helpful and friendly (though not very visible a lot of the time). Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to be really central. Despite being very close to the busy streets, it wasn't noisy.
