The floor has to be fixed immediately also the beds because they make a lot of noise! Excellent hostel though!
Great place to stay at if you're taking a train out of belgrade. It's so close to the trains station! Was quite satisfied with the place in general I just wish that they'd put a bath mat in the bathroom in front of the shower so that you don't get the floor all wet after showering... Staff was so helpful and friendly!

Dormitory and double private room are comfortable. I often go there out of season and it's quiet even if some cars passing down the hostel can make a small noise. You can take the free breakfast on the balcony seeing people passing in the street. It's just 5 minutes walk to the center and 50 meters from bus-train station, airport shuttle and good connections with local tramway and buses. Then it’s easy, no taxi to take. I don't know other hostels in Belgrade but this one does the job !
Really clean and nice. Loved the balcony in the kitchen ;)
We have not good experience in this hostel. There is NO BREAKFAST in the morning even we wait until 8:30am!!!!!!!! We pay for the breakfast but there is nothing at all. We are very disappointed and unsatisfied.
Only stayed here one night and the hostel was 4/5 empty, so the atmosphere was rather quiet. But this place has so many other positive points that this hardly mattered. Great location, super close to the train and bus stations and tourist areas, comfortable beds, free laundry (1 euro for detergent), clean and well-stocked kitchen, excellent bathrooms, good common areas. The only negatives I can mention is that the floor in the 8-bed dorm was a bit of a hazard and not all of the lockers worked.
staff were really friendly and helpful. hostel is also very close to central train station which is great if you have an early train like I did. wifi was good and cable tv in hostel was a nice addition. main issue was the single bathroom for the whole hostel which at times had to wait 30 mins to have a shower.
nice hostel close to bus and train station so no taxi problems nice staff .they have lift old but works fine unlike many hostel in 2nd or 3rd floor it is very difficult to carry baggages go ahead and book kumar REVIEW BY THE GREAT INDIAN TRAVELLER TVISITED MORE THAN 100 COUNTRIES AND ALL CONTINENTS INCLUDING ANTARCTICA. I ranked this hostel at a high score (despite my initial disappointment at check in & curfew hours). A very good value for money, very close to bus/train station which makes it easier to travel. Although it's not that close to the hustle and bustle of city, it is easy to walk and reach main areas/streets and sites. Staff are also very helpful.
located in a very old building near the train station, all 3 staffs were amazingly friendly, don't expect a 'good' breakfast, but everythings are value for money, feel like a small guesthouse, comfy
Me and my boyfriend have stayed in the Red door hostel for two days in the twin room and we had a great experience. The room, common room, kitchen and bathroom were clean, in good condition and lovely. The staff is really friendly (especially Marina, who was really helpful, nice and was there most of the time) and it is really close to the old city centre. The atmosphere was nice, although we were alone there for one of the two days we spent there. And the beds are super comfy! A great find!

Small cozy hostel. Perfectly fine for 1-2 nights. The location is good - right next to the train station and 10 minutes aways from main attractions. However, the security is not very good - most of the lockers just could not be locked. And those the were working could be opened by just pushing harder. Although the atmosphere was really friendly, this is the drawback that should be fixed.
Red Door is awesome bc it is right by train station. The walk into town is also quick bc it is right on a street corner which goes to the main drag of town...only down side is the atmosphere is a little non-existent bc it is so small and one shower for the whole hostel (but I never had a problem).
Directions from train station to hostel not so clear. Very near by though!
I arrived really early and the woman who checked me in could see how tired I was and let me sleep in the dbl room (which was a nice size with tv and a/c) till the single was ready which was very nice of her. Unfortunately the single was a box room with a small window and no a/c. She did give me a fan though.
AmazIng staff, free washing machine, free breakfast, close to city centre and train and bus station.. Red door was a great value place to stay. Nice kitchen with a great little balcony, the only negatives were mosquitoes at night and there wasn't a great social vibe because it's so small (17 beds) with quite a few older travellers often staying. I'd say here again.
We stayed in the 2 bed room apartment and it was immaculate! Brand new very clean and private! I would highly recommend travellers stay here as it is very central and close to the main bus station.
