Good facilities, but not too much going on

Red door is the perfect place to stay in Goa. The staff are incredible, travellers themselves and helpful and friendly as ever. The hostel is situated right in the middle of Anjuna and is surrounded by everything you need. All rooms have lockers and the hostel even have pet dogs!!!!

The location is excellent, 10 min walk to Anjuna. There's a neat little cafe just opposite the hostel which is open from sunset to sunrise and has great food. The tables outside the hostel are awesome if you want to chill and have a beer. Nikki was really friendly, recommended good places to visit in the area. The toilets were disappointing, don't think they were cleaned everyday. But, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to meet People.

This hostel has some good socialising areas, however we did not have the best stay here. The women's bathroom had one working shower and the bathrooms were often in quite a state. We found that one of the staff members was very pushy in getting us to organise day trips through him. We agreed to pay a rediulous sum of money for an 'island boat trip' that was pretty horrible! We found all other staff really lovely! It was a shame that our time here was tainted.

The hostel was perfect in every way.New painted clean walls and toilets. The beds are very comfortable. Nice balconies and garden. It has a very nice and open ambience. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The dogs at the hostel are cute. They follow you to the beach and play with you. The wifi is strong too. Have a big LCD to watch all the rugby matches. I booked for a night but I'm still here after 3 nights. It is a perfect place to enjoy your holiday. Glad I chose Red door!

This hostel is HORRIBLE. The staff was very unfriendly. When we checked-in to our stay, the person did not even introduce themselves. That was besides the fact that the hostel itself is filthy. There is a shared kitchen area, but it didn't seem like anyone was cleaning it. There were flies. The room we had was terrible. We booked a deluxe private room. The floor was dirty and the walls were falling apart. We complained to management and they tried to give us a room with a broken shower. Awful!
