I totally recommend the Red Emperator Hostel. My stay there with some friends was awesome! The hostel is located in the old town, it's a very clean hostel and the atmosphere couldn't be better!

This hostel is AMAZING!! Great location, lots of space and great artwork all over the walls :-) The rooms are very comfortable and the bar area always has a great atmosphere. The staff are like a family and incredibly welcoming to everyone who comes to stay! Craig is a great host and will always point you in the right direction for the best time in Talliin. Definitely stay here!! Stay for longer than you planned to ;-)

Great !! Very cool staff, excellent facilities, a lot of character. definitely a place to stay to party or just to have a good time playing beer pong and pool.

Had a great time! Good location with supermarket across the street, WIFI, cheap beer at the bar and really AWESOME staff! Will definitely come back here!

Great location. Staff are fantastic, all very friendly and helpful. Craig, the manager in particular - lots of good tips. Room was very nice and the bar is great fun. however, kitchen is very small and not enough seating in the common room (all in the bar). A couple of couches, etc. in the common room would be nice to relax. Obviously a new hostel so hopefully this will be done when completed. Definitely consider staying here. Additionally, the soviet prison tour is awesome so get on board that

We loved this hostel. Craig is a wonderful host. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing is the doors of each shower which should be replaced soon. The location is perfect, in the very centre of the Old Tallinn. Thanks, Craig!

Red Emperor Hostel is in a brilliant location, close to the old town and the supermarket. Don't expect to see it from the road tho - there's no signage out the front, so make sure you have the address written down! The staff were friendly, and the place was clean - even if they are still renovating.

Definitely the coolest hostel in Tallinn... not going to think where to go when come next time to city.

Can not stress the character enough, only downside was staying there for just one night. The security is excellent, having to have to go through code-locked doors to the rooms. Pool tables inside as well as a bar. Also very friendly staff. Finding it can be a little difficult, but you just have to go through an archway, ignoring the Hotel and looking for the hostel door to the right. Supermarket opposite it and a short trip to the harbour.

A very nice hostel right next to the centre of Tallinn. I recommend it to everyone visiting Tallinn. A few small things: in the rooms there are no pegs to hang your coat from and a lot of things in the hostel are broken.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. I stayed in both a shared dorm room and a private double room and they were both great and the bed are fantastic. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to prepare a meal. The shower room has loads of cubicles and it was always spotless. Attached to to hostel is a great bar with two pool tales and great local beers. The highlight of my stay was the staff, they really care about your stay in Tallinn. 100% recommended.
