The bathrooms need some TLC.

No hot water working when we visited and very quiet - bar closed, not a lot of atmosphere. Get the impression that this\'d be a good place to stay in full season, but at this time of year (mid-November) not particularly inspiring.

This hostel was extremely noisy, and quite dirty for the price. I would not recommend this hostel. It's on a dark back street.

Not up to my personal standard. The linen was threadbare, the pillows inadequate. The scruffy dorms face onto the common area which is very noisy. Bring your earplugs. The kitchen was a mess, garbage overflowing everywhere when I arrived. YThe bathrooms were very basic but had hot water. The staff were OK, but seemed to be doing a lot of not much when they could be working to clean the place. The rooftop terrace area hadn't been cleaned for ages.

I've only put good for cleanliness because the men's toilets were in a bit of a state when I arrived. This was however due to a blocked urinal (let's not go into details!)which, let's face it, could occur at the Ritz. The light in the women's shower was also not working. However, the latter was fixed as soon as it was reported in the morning and by 10 am the plumbers were already in, sorting out the blocked urinal. 10 out of 10 for quick response from the staff.
