I had a quiet confused lady at the counter who didn't realize how many guests stayed in my dorm and tHan also mixed up the key for the locker . Actuellaly not a big deal. The night guard seemed to watch his videos so intensily that he even didnt look up when i entered through the night door in the middle of the night. Anybody could havé gone in. Otherwise small 4 bed dorms. Withe very good matresses and extremely clean Linnen. But no space to lock your luggage.
Great location, had everything we needed.

Smell was so bad that we had to leave. Lockers are tiny. Bed sheets too small.
Really great location, quite loud as the temple is opposite, but the staff provide you will ear plugs! Really good shares bathroom, plenty of space. Very clean and lots of showers/toilets to use. Satellite was a little bad for the telly but not the end of the world! Chilled vibe which is what we prefer.
Good place. It was really clean. Rooms are really small, not much space at all. Every bed has a small locker, a light and electric plug. You also have a little bigger locker under your bed, but not big enough for a bag. One bad thing is the system with your room key. When you enter the room you need to put your room key in a holder by the door in order to get the lights and the air con to work. It gets a bit uncomfortable when you need to switch cards. Change this system!
Above average hostel. Excellent breakfast. The only problem is the extremely tight and small 4 bed dorm.
Staff were laid back, in keeping with the surroundings but helpful and friendly. For the price, the facilities were great, comfortable and with an ample breakfast. If I come back to Penang Island then I'd like to stay here again; location is good. Thanks.
That'd be great if they find a way to solve the keycard problem. Everyone has their own keycard to unlock the door and plug it to turn on the lights and air-con. But when they leave the room, they need to get their card back from the plug. So they keep waking up others to not to leave the room with aircon or fan off. Maybe a permanent card that stays in the plug?
