There are 2 Red Inns in Love Lane, the other one is next door to a bar so it's very noisy especillay in the night,we chose this one and proofed it's a very good choice, located also in Love Lane, but very queit, the staff are all Philippino, very helpful. It was also a shop house before, renovated into a hostel, there are 2 floors, the first floor is divided into a lobby and rooms area.We stayed at the second floor with shared bathroom. the Facilities are OK, but just not so clean, need to improve

Great hostel, almost like an hotel! We stayed in a room in the backyard, which was quiet and nice. Everything's very clean and the common area is very welcoming. The breakfast was great (real coffee, fresh fruits, toast etc.)! We highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Walls are a little thin, but overall a really great place. The location on 15 Love Lane is about one block out of the main mess, so this place was very peaceful, a big plus.

Everything was quite fine and we enjoyed being there, The hostel is located in the love lane which is the border line of the area which is registered as a world heritage site. You may pay visits to the old city's attractions in a day since they are all near to the hostel. But the Batu Fringi beach is rather far and it takes about 45 min to get there from the hostel. The staff treated us warmly and were a certain help. I can't make a bad review on this hostel whatsoever, It was clean and neat.

I had an amazing stay at the Red Inn Heritage. It is a beautiful guesthouse located on a charming little street in the heart of Georgetown. The staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. The free breakfast in the morning is delicious and there's so much food to choose from! The common area is a great place to meet people or just chill out and watch movies. I definitely recommend staying at the Red Inn Heritage!

A really nice hostel, lots of character. Free breakfast was great and its in a fantastic location. Only complaints are the incredibly thin walls and that there are no lockers or safe place to store valuables. I had to carry my passport and cash around with me every day as I didn't feel comfortable leaving it in the room.

The floors of Red Inn Heritage was constantly creaking and it's a little noisy especially when other guests walk past at night. Other than that, it has a great ambience and is an awesome place for an affordable stay!

Overall a good place to stay, but my friend forgot about the deposit for the key and the staff didn't remind about it, so we lost 30 RM..

The reviews are correct, very good hostel. Great location and lovely common area on ground floor. Free coffee and water. Dorm rooms are fine, come with a/c, comfortable beds. Only negative is only two showers on upper floor and would be good if slippers were provided for toilet as floors are wet due to being shower room as well.

Nice enough hostel, didn't like consistent heavy footsteps above the bedroom, very poor layout has upstairs hall above bedrooms. Signage did not stop other guests walking like elephants. Pool table next to bedroom, seriously why? i like to be social but what the?? close the table at a reasonable hour.

Would not stay there again, did not like the atmosphere. Worst thing: Walls are thin as hell and sleeping is not possibel. If you have to stay there: Only take a room in the upper flor; you'll still here every word from the rooms beside you, but you wont here every move from the rooms above you! But since there are some much more nicer hostels in Georgetown: Just go there, not in the red inn.

We got worse rooms than we ordered, as they downgraded some rooms after we booked and dint offer us to change. Most rooms are without windows. Thin walls where we had to listen to titanic three times in a row. It was cleaned once a day which was ok. Downstairs are some showers which do not have a toilet build in. If you are on a higher level, you will hear everyone walink by due to the wooden floor..
