I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this hostel. The lounge area has a bar, pool table, dartboard, couches, and you get great WiFi up there. The upstairs outside area is great as well and they welcome you to drink/smoke up there, if that's your thing. The atmosphere is great and the bathrooms were kept pretty clean. The location was great as well and close to the old part of town where all the history, architecture, and street art is. I would stay here again.
Great location, good atmosphere, could do with a shelf or power point on the top bunks and the showers are the ones that turn off after a minute or so and you have to keep pressing the button. Overall would recommend
Awesome hostel! guaranteed to have a fun time here, easy to meet people, staff really go out of their way to help you, as they did for me.. one of the best hostels in Spain!
The room itself was average, but the common areas are nice and perfect for meeting people. I met some amazing people at this hostel. I also did both the walking tours and the pub crawl and enjoyed all of them. I would recommend this hostel for solo travelers.
We had a great stay at Red Nest; it is nicely decorated and spacious, with a bar upstairs and a terrace. kitchen area was also very big and had many tables that were good for socializing and eating together. We really enjoyed the walking tours. Pub crawl was OK. The atmosphere really depends on the group staying there at the time, and we lucked out and met many wonderful people, atmosphere was very social during our stay. Only complaint is that some rooms had working AC and some didnt (ours did)

Very nice, especially for solo travelers. Had a problem with the ac at one point but think it was fixed later on. Staff all very welcoming, had a very very nice time there. Highly recommended!
Very clean, very central. Staff were friendly, easy to meet people, nice kitchen and hang out area. Air conditioning in the rooms made for a pleasant sleep. Great value for price.
Really enjoyed my staff at this hostel, stayed in a 12 bed and the room was really spacious. the showers were good too and the location was very central!
Well organized, fun environment. The staff was knowledgable about Valencia, attractions, bike rentals, how to get to the beach. We loved the rooftop terrace, the music, and the bartender. It was a fun place filled with young travelers. We would definitely recommend.
This is a very nice hostel with great and helpful staff! The facilities are good and very clean. They have a kitchen, bar area, big rooms and bathrooms; and it is close to the city central.. Just a few minutes to walk. I met some awesome people at this hostel and would recommend it to anyone traveling alone or even in a group. Thank you for a great stay!
Great place to stay in Valencia. Staff was helpful and the location is great.
for 10€ a night it's fair. I only stayed here for one night and ended up putting into a dorm of 6bed with 5 of them being friends who doesn't speak any english and it was awkaard for me. the staff during the days doesn't make me feel welcomed, but the staff working for overnight shift is awesome and helpful! the bathroom at 4/F is dampy and stiffy and hot, and no much light getting in.but if u are traveling solo, I don't recommend it.
Great location, aircon, roof top, common areas and kitchen had lots of space! Wifi did drop out quite a bit but over all was good! This place is great value for money friendly and helpful staff I ended up staying 2 extra nights!
This place was one of the best hostels I've stayed at in Europe. Great atmosphere as far as meeting other travelers, large and efficient kitchen, neatly organized. The cleaning staff was amazing, and super friendly. There seemed to be someone cleaning something at all times of the day. The only negative I had was they were stingy with the AC. The top floor was extremely uncomfortable bc of the heat midday.
Nice spacious air conditioned rooms which was great considering the outside temperature. The staff were a little blunt but tended to your every need. Socially, I couldn't fault the place, a bar area upstairs and the bar crawls (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) were amazing. Great bang for your buck
Great location, friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, tasty cocktails! The rooftop terrace is what makes it great, and it's easy to meet people. Also liked that there is a lift and the rooms have separate lockers (not the noisy under-bunk lockers). Cleanliness could be better, I was there for 6 nights and the floor in my room was never vacuumed or mopped. Also, I got very sick and spoke to 4 different staff members before I found one who could tell me where to find an English speaking doctor.
cool hostel with great people. great for solo backpackers. a/c was super refreshing and staff were really helpful.

There was no proper air conditioning in the room, so it was unbearable to sleep and each morning we would wake up in sweat. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and I will definitely stay there again but just not in summer when it's very hot. Also the staff were fantastic, a big thanks to them for helping out with any problem!
Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm during July 2015. The beds are quite squeaky. The lockers are an ok size. The air con was not the best in my room. The bathrooms are very small. The shower has no area for clothes to be hung and to get changed in. The staff were helpful. Roof terrace but i didn't really go up there. Cooked breakfast for a fee. Kitchen facilities so we cooked breakfast for ourselfs. Location was ok can walk into centre and transport.
Didn't see much of the staff except the lengthly amount of time spent waiting in reception, but the atmosphere and the people staying here make this hostel. Everybody's so friendly. The terrace upstairs makes for great socialising. Central location. Easy bus ride to the beach. Expensive bar crawls so we decided to do our own. 100% recommend La Ruia for amazing paella close by.
