We (2 girls) booked into a 4 bed dorm only to find we were sharing with a strange old man. He kept staring at us so we were moved to a 12 bed dorm (no discount). The 1st night a fight broke out at 4am and nobody stopped it. The 2nd day we had a drunk old man in our room, he fell over the furniture, peed all over the bathroom and sat in bed drinking a bottle of whisky. He was v inappropriate towards us. We complained but they didn't ask him to leave, so we left without a refund. No communal area

Could use a common room.

First look was very impressive. Really like the ladies, they knew what they are doing and been very helpful. Minor/temporary issues: broken showers and not so efficient wifi. The night-shift receptionist boy didn't really hurried to help out or just couldn't and seemed not to care much of providing info where to go in Riga. The beds feel a little bit dangerous. They should be fixed to the wall to increase comfort of upper level. Missed the social room. Overall very clean very good.

Very small, but very clean and a great place to stay!

The atmosphere is absolutely perfect in this hostel, but the biggest plus is of course location, 10 minutes from railway/bus station, about distance to the city center - it's already in so you just have to go out :) for me it was the best hostel I've ever been to.
