Very nice hostel. Enjoyed the free breakfast, wifi, comfortable common area and the excellent indian restaurant next door! Only downside was thin-walled rooms with canvas ceilings so private rooms not 100% private, but overall it was a great hostel and I would highly recommend it.

U have to deal with a creaky wooden floor, nd a silly fan and the ac hardly reaches u. There us just one bathroom on the floor nd 13 ppl on the same floor. The owners r quite friendly but the prices are quite steep for what u have to endure during ur stay...make ur own breakfast, wash urown plates, they help with nothing..findint the place kiled us, they dont have a sign board!!!

It would be great if you can fix the wifi connection on the uppermost room. And people should not allowed to smoke in the living room, so the smoke wouldn't annoy any other guests who use PC for surfing.

I really like the staff. They are so friendly. Surprise for the room, I thought it has air conditioning, but the air conditioning is only in living room. But the location is great, you can find anything in Bukit Bintang and safe for single traveller. Its been a pleasure to stay in Red Palm overall.

I loved my stay at Red Palm. Everyone was very helpful. I really appreciated the strong coffee, bananas, milk, dishes, and help from the staff. I will definitely be coming back! Kristy Kumar

Great staff, good location and great food right next door. Unbelievable resources there too. Dozens of lonely planets there that can be used to plan your next portion of your trip. Really sweet cats, as well. I'd stay there again. Only con is limited bathrooms. Only 2, but there aren't that many beds, so I never had a problem.

Had an amazing stay at the red palm, staff very friendly, will even open the door for you every time you come 'home'. Guesthouse living area extremely cosy and comfortable, loved watching the Korean tv program's in our down time. We had a double room with air-con and even a balcony, generous size. As we arrived in the pouring rain it was a bit hard to find as there's no signage outside but great location as there's heaps of shopping malls and awesome open air restaurants close by.

Cosy place right next to the Jalan Alor food street and Bt Bintang shopping district. Pretty clean, though there are only 2 showers and the aircon is shared (the rooms are more like partitions than proper rooms). Helpful staff.

The manager is a lovely, helpful person. Staff are nice and location is great. Dorm is a little crowded. Finding it is a challenge as they have no sign. For some reason I was there and had no conversations with otehr travelers. A usual thing.

Friendly staff and helpful as well. :) i'm a bit allergic to cats generally so that's why i don't really hang out much in the common room! Shower is better down the common hall rather than the hot shower upstAirs :) but overall, good experience

Not really a hostel, feels more like a home for people travelling. Booking and subsequent communication at a very high level, very clear and concise directions as well as tips for sights in KL and all of Malaysia. I would recommend to anyone.

I love coming back to Red Palm, had my 4th stay in 4 years this time. Good relaxed atmosphere, clean, good bunk bed in the dorm, fast wifi, very nice people working there. My home in KL, and will be back at the Red Palm for sure when I go back to KL.
