If you want a cheap hostel then this is your place. But the dorm and kitchen needed a big clean - very dirty. The people living in the hotel are very nice and the staff were friendly
The rooms were clean enough, the bathrooms and kitchens though could have been cleaned more frequently by the looks of it. Lots of long term backpackers staying here, but still a pretty good social vibe.
This is the less clean Hostel I came accross through my 8 months of travel in South-east Asia. You get what you pay for. I didnt even want to leave my bag on the room floor. Nice that they have free breakfast but the hours are not long enough, would be nice to catch breakfast before getting on the early Premier bus down south.

Basic hostel. Quite old. Sheets were old and stained but clean otherwise. Nice outside area (people are allowed to have their own alcohol and party there till 11pm). Only two showers and toilets but that was suprisingly though enough.. Really liked this place but no luxury accommodation. Would go back definitely.
