I've stayed there for a week and it was very good. The staff it's really nice. The location it's really good, just a couple of blocks from Sacre Cour.

Overall, the two rooms my group stayed in were very clean and charming. The location was excellent and the staff were helpful with directions. My only real complaint is how dirty the bathrooms are. The shower reeked of mold and one day the bathroom was acting as an outhouse because it could not flush and people had literally continued to use it over and over again. Pretty disgusting.

Montmarte is a terrible location. As a solo female traveler I did not feel safe. The hostel was average overall, but cheap for Paris. Good breakfast.

I will recommend this hostel because of : - good location (only 10 minutes walking from the Gare du Nord station), 1 minute walking to Anvers metro station so you can connect to other places in Paris easyly, and 3 minutes walking to Sacre Coeur and Montmatre. - very clean and all staffs pleasure to help you - good breakfast and homy kitchen

Nice Hostel with a well equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. We were five persons and had a private ensuite with an extra bed. The room was on the fifth floor and very quiet. Bathrom was ok as well as the beds, even though they were a little bit small. If you are over 1.90: good luck!

Very nice hostel. Clean bathroom and rooms itself. Good breakfast for money, didn't expect that in a hostel. There were lockers in the lobby for which you didn't have to pay extra (just 50 cents, but returned when opening locker). Very nice location, just few 100 metres from sacre coeur and few metres from metrostation.

The view was great but the bathroom was not okay. The wall literally came off and there was mould everywhere. The price was not in a relation to these circumstances. The staff promised me that the manager would contact me because of a refund but he never did.

Good and clean hostel, very close to Anvers subway station! Very good room (we took a room for 3 pesons dorm-styled) and seen a new repair, carpet on the floor and key as card! Clean bathroom and linen. But you should pay 1 euro for towel! And there is no any soap in the bathroom. Breakfest is good and enough. Total impression is very good!

This was my second time at Le Regent Hostel and I was (again) happy with our stay. The staff were helpful and.accommodating. Clean, affordable (for Paris) and good location (close to Sacre Coeur, a metro stop, and an Open Tour bus stop). Security: small lockers for valuables (no pad-lock needed) and a luggage room for the bigger bags, but anyone can go in there and take whatever, so that's the only thing I'd change. Overall, Great hostel. I'd stay a 3rd time.
