We were really happy with Reggae Guest House. Besides the obvious benefits - such as free internet access, big common room, free toast / tea / coffee - there were small comforts that we didn\'t really appreciate until we stayed in lower quality hostels (things like good quality bath towels, quiet rooms, tour trip opportunities). Also, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were so happy with our experience that we booked another night at the hostel on our way back.

The place is fine. The kitchen is super hot and right next to the mixed dorm I was living in. Unlike staffs from other guesthouses I stayed in before, who were all efficient and helpful, staffs in this hostel mostly seem like to be not that hospitable. I would recommend Explorer\'s guesthouse nearby this one, just a little walk and you will reach there within 5 minutes. It\'s much more organized and comfortable and stylish and friendly. I would definitely choose it next time when I visit KL.

We stayed there for 6 nights, changed the first room because it was really tiny and ended up paying the 10% deposit on top. Instead of subtracting the 10%, they added it to our bill and refused to give us our money back. He even couldn't explain it, once he said the 10% are no deposit, but a service charge, then he said, the new room is more expensive than the price he told us before, he definitely had no idea what he was doing.

Actually I booked for the Reggae Hostel 1 but they have put me in No. 2 (which is about 2 walking minutes away). But this wasnt a problem at all, the stuff was very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom facilities are clean. Its easy to get to know new people. If I go back to KL I would stay at this Hostel again.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and even remembered us from a one night stay 6 months ago. The location is great and easy to find. The showers are hot and although the breakfast was basic it was more than enough. Will stay there again anytime I go back.

Atmosphere lacked more due to other travelers exclusiveness...not very friendly which was odd. Had 2 16 year olds traveling and hoped they would benefit from Reggae Guest house hostel

The most convenient place to stay in KL. The major spots in KL are just a stone\'s throw away (Chinatown, Central Market, Merdeka Square, old railway station). The staff are pretty helpful^^

We had a great time at Reggae 1. I thought the entrance is a little bit scary at first...but inside it is perfect, well decorated, serene and quiet. The bathrooms were squeaky clean every time I went to use them. Very relaxing from the hustle and bustle of KL and I would definitely stay there again. It is located right next to the bus station and close to the public transporation.

A very good stay! Despite the small size of the double room, the overall environment was clean and safe. Liked the showers. Very powerful water.

Tv didn't work. Wifi was very slow. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit lame. A slice of white bread with peanut butter, that's it.

Awesome location in China Town - loads of markets on the streets around the place. Staff very friendly, good suggestions for sight seeing etc. Nice common room to hang out in, very very good air in each room, breakfast is just toast, peanut butter and jam - could have been more options. Good, safe place, everyone was chilled and friendly :)

A really good place in a good location. Helpfull staff, gave us recommendations where to go in KL and sold us tickets to sights with discount. Rooms were clean. Reggae bar next to guest house1 is a good place to have a drink or even party hard. Definetely recommend this place!

The hotel is located near the china town, many chinese restaurants around. The staff there is very nice and helpful. The decoration is of antique beauty.Everything is fine, except the bar under the hotel. There is a disco bar on the first floor. So,the music is loud till 3a.m everyday.but if you don't mind of this, it's really a good hostel to live

Very nice place to stay, our twin room was spacious and clean, located in the centre of Chinatown but with two coded doors so its very secure. Staff were helpful and tea and coffee is always a bonus. It is a little pricey but you do get what you pay for!
