Regina Hotel Reviews

The hotel is in a convenient location in the center of town, but that is all the praise I can really give. Our room had a strong, musty smell that did not go away despite leaving the windows open for awhile. The bed had a single, small pillow (for two of us) and when we requested a second pillow it took 15 minutes of waiting around in the lobby as the staff member searched high and low to get one, and wifi is only free in the lobby and a whooping 6 euro per hour in the rooms!

Excellent location, friendly staff and a great breakfast for free! Right in the centre of avignon with the best ice-creameries, lots of cafés and the cinema within 5 minutes walking distance.

Screens on the windows might be a good addition. Otherwise, you open the shutters and mosqutoes and flies get in... otherwise...the fan was a great addition for the hot nights!

We stayed in a double room on the first floor, clean and nice. The lady at the reception spoke German and English very well. All major attractions are within 5-10 minutes walk. Parking in Avignon inside the walls is overall difficult, but we managed to find a place not very far from the hotel.

This hostel is good for average travelers, for its good location, staffs, easiness, and the needed info. Still, comparing its price with other hostels' prices, I expected it would offer more, if possible.
