located in lido, another island very close to the hostel but you have to consider the boat tickets (7euro to venice) not to be disappointed after your booking.

Breakfast was offered as an additional charge of 5 euro -- not good value and the allocated space was exceedingly limited and cramped. Plenty of cafes around offering better value and more congenial surroundings.

I was only one night but I think It was value for money and a great base to explore Venice as the Hotel is quite close to the island. Lido has nothing special but near the hotel there is a station where you can take a boat and in 5 minutes be in "La Piazza San Marco". In addition, everything worked properly and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We truly loved the room, but the shower was taped to the fixture, one of the single beds broke when we sat on it, the windows were nailed or taped shut, I killed a bug in my bed, and there was no hot water on the first morning. On the good side, it was a huge room, with a great size bathroom, and we loved the atmosphere. No complaints.

When we booked with Reiter hotel we tought it was really closed to te center of Venice. Well it wasn't. We were suposed to stay in a double room and they put us in 1 person room and then we had to ask for discount, and we could leave without paying the tourism tax. It could be a little more clean.

I LOVED the island of Lido, its a ways but its worth the stay! I wish I'd known the hotel was smoking - no issue but I didnt like being surprised when my room smelled like smoke from one of the neighbors. It was a great find for a last minute booking, clean, super easy to get to, right near some great restaurants and a grocery store nearby! Highly recommended.

A great base to explore Venice. Was excellent value for money, the shower worked and was hot and powerful, the bed comfortable and for what we paid it was great!. Only thing that annoyed us was the rattling door in room 204, even when it was double locked it seemed to bang a bit maybe due to wind, but I am not sure how, we kept putting a suitcase next to eat to try and stop it happening.

It is really easy to find and it's a great place to stay away from the tourist central of San Marco. I slept great, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and located in a quiet pretty neighborhood.

Pretty good WE in this hotel. The best value for money in Venice. Nice staff, good location on the Lido. Confortable beds, quiet (recommand to stay at the back during the summer).Don't know for the breakfast, but you may find opportunities all around... The 3p room was big enough. For the bad points: the shower door not closing totally, the lack of people at the reception when you drop/take your key sometime during the day. A kettle would be nice in the room. I recommand and will be back 1 day.

Despite having called twice before our stay to confirm we could check in at any time of day, we were told we couldn't check in till 2 in the afternoon. Having arrived in Venice at 3 am, we waited almost 12 hours before checking in and at least 6 before we could even leave our bags behind. While this is a standard check in time, it would've been good to have this mentioned somewhere and not been told the contrary two times. No apology was made. The room itself was quite nice.

There is a lack of a clock telling the correct local time. The staff that worked at dawn was rude to us. There was also some loud guests at the place and the staff didn't do anything even after complaining of some guests.

ATTENTION! This hotel is NOT placed in Venice. It is in an island near of Venice called Lido. To get there you have to get the ferry (wich costs 7 euros each way). Durind the winter there is almost no nightlife and just few restaurants oppened in Lido.

This hotel is located on the island of Lido, which is very far from the main train station (st.lucia), it can take up to one hour from this part of Venice to the main station by the water taxi. The room and ensuite were clean and spacious. However, you could hear some noise from nearby buildings at night. There's a supermarket nearby which adds to the convenience. This hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest water taxi dock. it's about 20 minutes from St.Mark square.
