Really nice place! Very close to a beach and it was easy to get to the heart of Venice by boat. Near a good supermarket and room had a fan and en suite bathroom.
Needs better WiFi upstairs

A very friendly welcome awaited us in this Accomodation. The gentleman couldn't have done more for us. A little gem of a hotel on the beautiful Lido.

I spend several days in Venice each summer students. I have learned that staying on Lido is the way to go to avoid the excessive prices of the touristy area and the constant noise. And the best place for the best money is this place. The staff is WONDERFUL and super helpful. We arrived after a full day of travel. Their card reader was down. The guy checking in said "have dinner, enjoy yourself. You pay tomorrow after you get to the ATM." Never would have happened in the US!
Perfect location if you are looking to stay outside of central Venice. If you want to enjoy the beach it is a 5 minute walk down the street. Great place if you want to spend less money on food, shops, and accommodation. Ten min boat ride from St. Marks Square, and 30 min from St. Lucia Train station. Every time you take the boats you must pay 7.50 Euros, try to buy a pass. Our one issue with the hotel was that there was no air conditioning, it was very hot! Other than that it was great.
The staff was quite nice. When we checked in, the credit card machine wasn't working, so the person at reception allowed us to wait until the next morning to see if the machine was fixed by then (it was), rather than paying the whole balance in cash. They also allowed my group and me to wait in the common area after we checked out until we were ready to leave for our train. The baggage hold for after checkout was just a space under a table in the common area, which didn't seem secure to me.
Located on Lido this hotel is a bit out of the way however we didn't mind as we really liked Lido to escape the constant hustle and bustle of Venice and the beach in Lido is very nice. The facilities are passable but quite dated, for instance the fan in the room was very small and didn't work while the (very small) TV was on at the same time. Most disappointing was the breakfast was not good value and unfortunately we found the dining room had an uninviting dark and dingy atmosphere.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was of adequate size, but the bathroom was very small. The room and ensuite were clean, but the hotel needs some updating.
We really enjoyed our stay. The management were excellent and very friendly and helpful. I will be recommending the Reiter Hotel to mall friends who come to visit Venice!
The hotel is situated on a side island just of Venice city. It is in short walking distance of the beach and restaurants and the boat bus to St. Marco square but be warned it does €7 every journey so would recommend you buy a day pass for the busses if you are there for any longer than 3 days. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious especially for the cost. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice get alway to Venice with the welcome addition of a beach!
The wifi could be a little better in the rooms as the router was placed in the stairwell meaning it was very patchy in the room itself (pretty minor I know). Also would be nice if the €5 breakfast was included in the price as the room was already over €80 a night and you'd think €5 breakfast for 4 days would be included. Also, I did notice the "double" bed was actually two twins put together but they were comfortable enough so it wasn't a problem.
