Liked a lot! Very nice place...

The hotel was old, nothing too special. The price it was combined with the location made it worth it. Much cheaper than staying in central Venice, and still close enough, about a 20 minute commute to St. Peter's.

Our stay was over all a very poor experience. The owner is the only one who works at the hotel and it is very unclean and misleading. Though, it was very cheap so I suppose we got what we paid for. Easy place to stay as a night to crash if you're a backpacker and don't care about the conditions and just need a place to rest your head.

The staff was very helpful, the boats make everything in Venice very accessible. Nice restaurants right next to you , I would 100% stay here again

Take note that this hostel is off of the main island of Venice and you have to take a water shuttle there, but that isn't difficult or anything. Kind of a hole in the wall place, but got the job done for a night in Venice, and much less expensive then most places.

The shower was the best I've used in a long time with high pressure and great temperature control. The bed was very large for just the two of us, and the view outside our window was breathtaking! Lido was a nice island to experience with very kind locals. The hotel is a five minute walk from the ferry station. Be careful near the end of each day because the ferry from the main island of Venice only runs to lido until around 11pm.

As the location is on the island of Lido, the area was provided a nice repast from the busy tourist area of Venice proper. Obviously, this then requires extra travel expenses to ride the vaporettos between the islands. We went to the beach one day, which is about a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was very clean, and nicely situated, and rather quaint in a European way. There is also a supermarket very close. We really enjoyed our stay here, and our only complaint was the wifi quality

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The location was great, although you have to pay for a ticket on the water buses to get there. There were restaurants and shopping around. The hotel was clean and kept up. Overall it was a fine place to stay. City tax is NOT included in the listed price, we had to pay an extra 20 euro for 2 nights, 6 people.

I was pleasantly surprised for the price I paid, it is was pretty good... clean, comfortable and very safe. Just have to settle for the hassle of travelling from Lido to the main San Marco area but since there are many boats, it was still very convenient. Good!

I really liked staying there and would return if I visit Venice again. It is a bit noisy from traffic but everything else was good. I recommend anyone to stay on the Lido rather than Mestre. Going into the main Venice island by vaporetto is much better than bus.

The Reiter was clean and is a good value overall. The location isn't bad - only a 5 minute walk to the boat ferry terminal. As far as we could tell though, there was only one person working there. That meant that when we came back late or when we had to leave early to catch our flight, we ended up waking him up so that we could check out or to get back in to the hotel (the outside door, we found, was locked after 11pm). This was a bit annoying (moreso for him), but overall our stay wasn't bad.

Nothing special, just what you get for that money in Venice...
