We booked for one night but we had to stay for two. The staffs was nice, they gave is a first floor room since we had some heavy luggage. The room was too cold and the heater wasnt working that much but we have like 3 extra blanckets. The wifi worked only on the lobby, the breakfast was paid (10 euros which is a LOT of money) and the whole hotel smelled like tabbaco so if you dont like that smell dont stay there. It was in Lido island, 1 hour on a boat from the train station.

There were crushed bugs on the wall and the sheets had a strong scent...not sure from what cleaning detergent they used. It is located in Lido in a good location which is a short waterbus ride away from the main part of Venice. The price was cheap and we got a private room for me and my girlfriend. Do not get the breakfast, it isn't worth the 5 euros that they charge for it. Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in an otherwise very expensive city.

Very good for the price, breakfast was too expensive so we didn't try it. I think maybe 3.50 Euros would encourage more people to have it.

Due to unforseen circumstances we had to find accommodation on Lido at the last minute. We booked into the Rotel Reiter and found a warm welcome 1 hour later. We didn't know how long we would be staying but the staff were extremely accommodating and found us a room every day that we needed it and let us use their kitchen facilities over Christmas!

Worth the price. Its a 10 minutes walk from the Lido pier, you could have save more money on boats if you're staying in the main Venice island.

The staff (main man at the reception desk) was really friendly and helpful. We were only there one night but if was comfortable and warm (we visited in December). 2 things we didn't enjoy were travelling by boat for an hour to get there (there must be a quicker way, but we didn't find it) and there were not maps for tourists in the hotel... It would be helpful if there were maps/guides of some sort available. We didn't try the breakfast. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
