Spent four nights at this beautiful apartment and would recommend it to anyone! It's a 15 minute tram ride to the City Centre but it's worth it for the open space and a bit of peace and quiet after a busy day. The owner of the apartment, Dirk, is so helpful and the apartment is beautifully furnished and spacious. They also supply free alcohol, juices, tea, coffee and a big array of breakfast foods. A hidden gem with no bad points! Thank you Dirk!

Dirk, (the owner), went beyond what I expected of him. Very nice and accomodating. The park is lovely. Cental station is only around 20 minutes away by tram. The facilities were lovely. Very nice kitchen area and bedroom. Thanks for the lovely stay Dirk.

The apartment we stayed in was a good size with excellent basic cooking facilities which we mainly used for cooking breakfast. Dirk the owner was really helpful. We arrived early and he didn't mind us storing our bags regardless of the fact the apartment hadn't been cleaned yet. He spent time going through the hi lights of Amsterdam and even asked what we wanted for breakfast and went out and bought it. The location is great as it's just a short tram ride away from the city centre.

Very cute place. Great value for the money. More like our own little apartment. Situated in a nice and quiet residential area. It looks a little far away from central Amsterdam but very easy 10 min or so tram ride into town! Beautiful views from the windows, overlooking a park. Awesome kitchen included with a fully stocked fridge for breakfast! I wish I could rent it as an apartment for a couple months and continue to explore Amsterdam :)

Great apartment. Dirk was wonderful! A little far from the city, but very relaxing (perfect for amsterdam) and easy to take the tram in to town (about 10 minutes). Very large and included a hearty breakfast.

Great accommodation and facilities, Dirk is an awesome host. Breakfast was amazing. Location is out of the city, but the tram is right there so you can explore the city all day and still get a great nights sleep

We booked the accommodation with 7 girls and we did not expected this kind of quality place. It is fantastic, clean and the staff is incredibly kind. I can just recommend Rembrandt Park House for everybody who wants a nice and cheap place to stay.

As a group of 7 people, we booked the whole apartment. It was lovely and home-like. Be prepared to pay the fare in cash. It was convenient enough to get there by tram, but it's too far if you prefer to walk to the city centre.

The apartment is in a pretty location on the edge of Rembrandt park. However, the suburb area wasn't that great and we had to catch a tram 15mins to get anywhere. We had issues with the locks on the doors and the bathroom was pretty ordinary but manageable. Otherwise, the apartment was good enough, wifi access, tv and tea, coffee, cereal, juice etc was supplied free of charge which was lovely!

This is a self contained, clean apartment. The owner came to meet us late at night and made us feel extremely welcome. He brought groceries so we would have breakfast and stayed and had a drink with us. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and is only a 10min tram ride from the centre of Amsterdam. It is situated across the road from Rembrandt park which is beautiful to go and have a picnic. We felt so at home and would recommend this to anyone staying in Amsterdam.

It is a really nice place to stay at a great price. The man who owns the house, Dirk, was so warm and welcoming! He was very responsive to everything we needed. I'd like to respond to a comment that another guest wrote about the food in the fridge not being fresh: If you had called Dirk and told him about this, he would have gladly replaced it for you in a very timely manner. Our food was fresh and plentiful, and there was a very good assortment! I would highly recommend this place!!!!

I was very happy when I entered the hostel. First of all, there was a person waiting for me when I arrived, even though I came rather late (about 11 pm). Second of all, the hostel, with its large bedroom and living room, was entirely mine for two days. Finally, Rembrandt Park is right across the road which made for a really great view from the bedroom window. The owner, a very pleasant person, visited the morning following my arrival and gave a brief overview of the things to do in the city.

An excellent place to stay. It's not in the very city centre, but about a 10 minutes bus ride away. Lovely atmosphere, food in the refrigerator and we were greeted by the owner of the house, who provided us with a glass of wine when we first arrived. Nice, clean and absolutely worth its price!

The food in the refrigerator not replaced, most of them were rotten, the bread warranty expired a week ago. This should be monitored, as this breakfast was included in the rates. You can not pay by credit card.

Owner Comment (Hide)
When we were told that a milk carton was expired we replaced it right away. We always place fresh bread (and cereals, toast etc) in the apartment before guests arrive.

Excellent place to stay with lots of space, natural light and nice view over the park. It was great to have a great selection of breakfast supplies provided. The property felt like a home away from home and conveniently located near the tram for access to the city centre. We enjoyed our stay very much; the only comment would be that we didn't realise it was a private residence without a check in desk and that our late arrival (due to delayed flight) affected staff being available.

Um ótimo apartamento, amplo, limpo, confortável, com uma bela vista de um parque. Não fica no centro, mas o trem passa toda hora quase na esquina, e te deixa no centro de Amsterdam em poucos minutos. O dono é ótima pessoa. Very, very nice apartment! Clean and confortable, perfect to rest after a long day walking in Amsterdam.
