It was cozy for 5 us women. They need to check the fridge to make sure there isn't any already used open yogurt or milk. We don't know how long they've been there. Its better to replace with new small milk carton rather than used one sitting there. Mr volmer always prompt with all my request. if I have to complain about something while I am there, I am very sure he will sort it out right away. in overall our stay in the apartment was great. We only need it for a base to sleep. So it is just fine

Really good choice to stay and enjoy in Amsterdam! Dirk and Guillermo, people in charge of the house, are charming people and I'm sure you will not have any problem with anything in relation with accomodation. They Also speak spanish.

Nice place to stay next to Rembrandt Park. Quite surroundings and good connection to the city centre via public transport. Decent beds and living room/kitchen but bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast was plenty.

This is not really hostel, more of an apartment with many guests. Me and my 4 cousins got the entire downstairs to ourselves, which was awesome! The whole place was spacious and so comfortable, and Dirk heavily stocked the fridge and shelves with TONS of breakfast food. We never went hungry. Cheap bike rental shop around the corner (10 euro per day) and a cute square with a supermarket and eateries. We loved our stay here!

Gorgeous apartment. Modern, spacious, clean and well-epuipped. A little out from city centre, but easily reachable by tram. The host, Dirk, was efficient and welcoming and left us lovely food for breakfast! We would absolutely return - great stay in Amsterdam.

We have been Interrailing for 3 weeks now and this is the best value for money, and best quality place we have stayed in! Dirk the host is very welcoming and told us all the best places to go in Amsterdam! It is also just opposite a beautiful park where you can relax! Certainly recommend this place!

Dirk is a gracious host. His care is well appreciated. We stayed in two units (one part of the hostel, one a private arrangement), both opposite Rembrandt Park. The park is a quiet place away from Central Amsterdam hubub. Make sure to enjoy the school vegetable and community gardens in the park. The unit was comfortable, well provisioned, and more than adequate for self catering. Make sure to organise bikes (we did), day transport tickets or prepare for 15-20 minute daily return walks to Central.

Spent four nights at this beautiful apartment and would recommend it to anyone! It's a 15 minute tram ride to the City Centre but it's worth it for the open space and a bit of peace and quiet after a busy day. The owner of the apartment, Dirk, is so helpful and the apartment is beautifully furnished and spacious. They also supply free alcohol, juices, tea, coffee and a big array of breakfast foods. A hidden gem with no bad points! Thank you Dirk!

The apartment we stayed in was a good size with excellent basic cooking facilities which we mainly used for cooking breakfast. Dirk the owner was really helpful. We arrived early and he didn't mind us storing our bags regardless of the fact the apartment hadn't been cleaned yet. He spent time going through the hi lights of Amsterdam and even asked what we wanted for breakfast and went out and bought it. The location is great as it's just a short tram ride away from the city centre.

Very cute place. Great value for the money. More like our own little apartment. Situated in a nice and quiet residential area. It looks a little far away from central Amsterdam but very easy 10 min or so tram ride into town! Beautiful views from the windows, overlooking a park. Awesome kitchen included with a fully stocked fridge for breakfast! I wish I could rent it as an apartment for a couple months and continue to explore Amsterdam :)

Great apartment. Dirk was wonderful! A little far from the city, but very relaxing (perfect for amsterdam) and easy to take the tram in to town (about 10 minutes). Very large and included a hearty breakfast.
