We only stayed 1 night at this hotel (more of a hotel than a hostel) but everything was clean, the staff were very helpful & polite, the price included breakfast in the morning at the pub next door. The location is not bad -5 minutes by tram to the Central train station (take #9 tho, #4 doesn't stop in Rembrandtplein anymore). Only downside was the noise in the middle of the night, but that may have been due to the seasonal Christmas market which had been set up in the square.
