We booked Residence Barbara in December 2012. We arrived to Trapani without knowing the change of accomodation to B & B Al Porto. Rosa, why didn ´t you inform us before arrival about the change? However B & B Al Porto had a great location but no facilities as free WiFi or outdoor terrace as Residence Barbara promised.

Rosa was lovely. Room was basic, well located for train and bus stations in a small town, also for old town and harbours. We wondered if "apartment" would mean it had cooking facilities, which it didn't. Fridge was noisy so we switched it off. There was nothing special about the room itself, but we didnt go there to spend time in a room anyway.

The owner was very nice and helpfull, didnt leave utill she had explained us everytime we needed. The room is clean and pretty, the hole bilding was reformed. The only minus was the smell of cigaret that was in the room from when we came till when we left. I recomend though!

Quite a good room for Trapani, I guess, but don't expect anything stylish. Very helpful owner. Very good location.

This was a fine hostel, but it didn't really provide much opportunity to hang out with other people. I couldn't find any in Trapani that were social hostels. They all looked to be private.
