Residence Rooms was wonderful! It's in a great location, within minutes walk of nightlife, the Turkish quarter, and attractions like the Latin Bridge. The owner was delightfully friendly and motherly. The Sarajevo tour by her husband Sead (sp?) is not to be missed -- not only did he take us to many great spots (the old bobsled track, the Jewish cemetery, etc.), his stories about his own experiences during the siege were gripping and told with incredible, entertainingly calm diffidence.

One of the best ostel I've ever been!

We stayed at residence rooms for 3 nights and it was a very nice hostel near to everything in the city. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The only issue we had is on Friday and Saturday nights it was very loud until quite late, as we were right above the busiest clubs in the city.

Very helpful and friendly staff

The stuff was excellent and they help us when we need information. It is clean pace and they are in the center. The owners are flexible and thy want to help.

This is easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The facilities are excellent, location brilliant and the staff are lovely! Highly recommend, and if we ever come back to Sarajevo (which I really hope we do) we will definatley stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful stay and I highly recommend the guided tour which was amazing!

Very nice and clean hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. Located in the centre of old Sarajevo. For me breakfast starting at 9.00 am was always too late. (I was waking up early in the morning, hungry to see everything and to eat breakfast..:))

It was those quiet hostels. Have a great location just in the middle of everywhere, very easy to walk. They are very welcoming. Nice stay.

This hostel is in an excellent location in the centre of the old town. The owners (who live upstairs) were extremely helpful with everything from organising our hostel in Mostar and Belgrade and all of the travel to and from to telling us about the best places to eat and drink in Sarajevo. The Tunnel Tour was really informattive and a good day out. The common room and kitchen are also homely and well stocked.

Realy good duble ensuite, small, but you get duble bed qite conftable, big flufly blanket and nice pillov. Vater was changing from colt to hot, i dont know why but next day it worked fine, maybi from lack of use some buble formed??? Othervise very hospitable owner, knows english, french (previusly a teacher)... For brekfast you get nice asortimant of things to eat, and dining room/comon room, is big and spaicus, very nice looking, you have some bord games there tv... Realy good stay.

Hot water... be less strict

Very Friendly, Clean, helpful and knowledgeable. Also had a great tour
