I 've stayed at the Residence Room several times and it s always a pleasure to come back there. It s very well located, two minutes to the old town and a minute from the main street. You 've got a grocery store at the corner also. Places to get a drink or to eat are plenty around. The hostel itself is very clean, always and that s a big point. The rooms are huge with lockers and the common places are also big and nicely decorated.

excellent location but you may have some street noise but no a problem for us. staff where very helpful and sorted and early. morning taxi for us. Good hostel

An excellent place with a nice athmosphere! They even have a grand piano in the common room! Excellent staff as well.

Great location. Very clean. You're right in the middle of everything so it can get a little loud outside the hostel walls. Otherwise this place is very laid back.

Staff doesn't speak English well. The older man was nice. They don't like any noise after 10pm. We got a private room, very clean and the hostel is on top of a bar, so it's really noisy at night.. Bars are open till 6am so if you want nightlife this is the place for you. Breakfast is basic, bread, jam and coffee.

Nice place to be. Most of the relevant sights in walking distance. Staff is very nice. On Saturday very loud in the rooms, due to the loud bars in the street - so you better go out as well. (But Sunday and Monday it's calm.)

we felt like we were at home there! location was perfect and the hostel was really clean.breakfast also was superb nice! we really love it! the only problem was that we booked it for 3 nights. then we wanted to travel another city so we wanted to cancel last night reservation (3 days before the day) but they did not accept. they said it is about hostel and hostelworld's policy. I know we should inform hostel 24 hours before but it should be for the next day. not for all days we booked.

Many thanks to the host and staff, especially uncle sead, who's always keep us in a good and nice hospitality, nice hostel, very clean, good environment, close to old town Bascarsija,a home away from home.
