This place is in a fantastic location and has a really homely feel. The room was big and We were welcomed and settled quickly. The room smelled a bit like old cigarettes (so if you are a non-smoker, might be a bit off-putting), but for us it was fine. We were just a few steps to plaza mayor and puerta del sol. And some good back street eating (stay away from the plazas - bad tourist food!) You never get bored in this area. Also, you must visit the Marche de San Miguel near the Plaza Mayor. This place is in a fantastic location and has a really homely feel. The room was big and We were welcomed and settled quickly. The hostel smelled so badly, my friend and I thought we were going to pass out. A great place to recharge, have some privacy, and cook some of your own food. Doesn't really seem to be a party house. A great place to recharge, have some privacy, and cook some of your own food. Doesn't really seem to be a party house. ...Close

A really nice, value for money hostel which more than adequately covers all bases. The staff are in fact the family owners and are really friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better and I have no problem in recommending it to othersA really nice, value for money hostel which more than adequately covers all bases.
